RE: Rosalie Nixon

You're very welcome. I am always glad to be of help.

You most certainly can use the photo as you need. You mentioned the Henry and McIntosh surnames. They are probably related in some fashion to the Nixon family.

The following is a list of those buried at 284 Live Oak Catalpa Myrtle

First Middle Last Name Age Date of Burial

James O Nixon 24 12/30/1902
Louise Jonas Nixon 90 06/16/1947
Rosalie Nixon 50 01/09/1931
Fred H. McIntosh 89 11/29/1979
Yvonne McIntosh 84 09/13/1996
Claude M. Henry 77 10/17/1964
Elmore Louis Henry 74 10/10/1995

Correct marker??
I've added a marker photo for John Hyde but since you have no dates, I can't say this is the correct marker as the John Hyde marker photographed is John the 4th, not Junior.

It is a "Kelly" that purchased the plot, if that helps to verify.

Request at Calvary Cemetery
In regards to your request at Calvary Cemetery in Glenmont, NY there are easily over 6,000 internments there. If you can call the cemetery and ask where the person is buried I will be happy to go back to that section and attempt to find the gravestone.

On this marker there is a third name, Col Edward Jonas died July 16, 1916. I do not see that he has been created but if you would like to create one for him I will be glad to add a picture of this one as well. Just let me know it is picture #2199. Happy Hunting!

Lepors - St. Mary's
Steve ---
Thanks so much for the pics of the Lepors. Yes, Thomas, Jr. was the son of Thomas, Sr. & Mary in the same cem.. I have entered all the listings for the Lepors that I know of so far & would like to put a photo request for the others that you took a pic of. Thank you, thank you for all of your help. I'm working on this family line for an elderly friend who doesn't use computers, but would like to have things researched for her descendents. Thanks again!

Thank you for the photo of Thelma R. Koskamp's grave marker. Since it is double marker with her husband's information, would you please add a copy of the photo to his memorial too? His memorial link is on her memorial. Thanks again.

I've called Cold Springs again --- still just a machine. Do you think it might be helpful if I mailed a note to them with my request/permission for location/ photos? If so, would you want me to give them your name as the photographer? Ler me know what you think & thanks.

Former Photo requests in Cold Spring Pres., etc.
Steve ---
I appreciate all of your efforts with my earlier requests (ie. Sarah Ann (Chambers) Diaz, Louis Bishop, Paul Greenland).
I called Cold Spring Cem. today re: my great-aunt Sarah Ann (Chambers) Diaz & infant son & cousin, Charles J. Elliott & wife Anne P. Elliott's burials. I had to leave a msg., but left my # & gave permission for photography to be taken of their graves & release of info. re: plot location.
I spoke with Charles's sister (in PA) this A.M. & she verified that Charles & Anne have a marker. They both died in 2009 & their ashes were interred May 2010.
Thank you for all efforts past. Just wanted you to know I am following up on the info. you sent to me. I am not realted to Louis Bishop, nor Paul Greenland, so I was not able to give permission re: their graves.
Again, thanks for allyou have done.

On behalf on my husband and myself, thank you very much for taking the pictures for Anthony and Kathryne Skolski, as they are his great-grandparents. We have been wanting to get to the area this summer, but do to some other unfortunate things, we have not been able to. We were unsure of their exact birth and death dates, so this helps us a great deal and we will be adding the information to our family tree. Thanks again and have a wonderful rest of the summer!
