Dear Sue, Thank You ever so much for such a kind and thoughtful gift of the token with my dad's pic in it. I know he loves it. He was very patriotic and loved our flag and anything red, white, and blue. Especially the color blue. He always loved a parade, too! The more flying flags, marching bands, horses, fire trucks, and old time cars the better! Seeing his token brought back all those memories. At church we had the Christian flag and the USA flag. Each day of Bible School at the start after prayer two of the men of the congregation would march in down the isle of the church. We would say our Christian pledge of honor and then the pledge of alligence. The men would then place the flags in their stands and the days events would begin. Thanks for the token, Sue! God bless!
