Find A Grave Memorial# 36424130
Hi Trisha:

How very sad, I have found another child of George D. and Sarah A. Ford Carmichael in Bear Creek Methodist Cemetery.

George C. 1873-1887.

May I use this photo also please?

Hi Trisha:

Re: Zylpha A Carmichael

May I please use your photo of the stone for Z.A. Carmichael, daughter of G.D. & S.A. Carmichael at Bear Creek Methodist Church Cemetery, Bear Creek, Hinds County, Mississippi?

Thanks for your consideration.

RE: Haley Cemetery
I apologize for not getting back sooner, but exact location of Haley Cemetery is at 32.023536,-90.337665 on the NW side of the road, and about 15 feet inside the tree line. It isn't at the location indicated on Find-A-Grave.

Grave Memorials
Mary Louise Ainsworth (maiden name Swett) (1840-1882) and her husband, Wesley L Ainsworth (1840-1882) are family members of mine. I was wondering if you would transfer their grave memorial to me (my findagrave.com # 48018385).

Thank you,

Spring Hill Cemetery
As you have probley noticed on this Cemeterys request thingy there is over 130 requests that have not as yet gotten fullfilled and they may not either if the requestors dont call the Spring Hill office for the locations .
So you may have to delete the original request and do over by calling the Cemetery office for location of interment.

I suggest you may have to call the Funeral Home Office and ask for the locations of any of your loved ones . And then put the location section in the request so the people who go to take pics wont have to go to the office to ask for the locations .
615-865-1101

The last times I went to ask for locations , the people in the office there said, they would have to charge non family members 5 dollars to look up locations, because they were much too busy helping the family members of interments .
Good luck in your Ancestry searches.

Kathy

Sorry Spring Hill can't look up any records before 1901 as the records are very old and falling apart. Natalie Halverson

Etheridge/Thompson/Witherspoon
Trisha,

Maybe you and I can swap information. I am descended from George William Thompson , 1860, who married Martha (Mattie) Etheridge, 1857. She is the daughter of John Clark Etheridge of Wilkinson County, GA.

On my mother's side, my gg grandfather William Charles Atherton who migrated from England had a sister, Jane Atherton who married James Witherspoon in England and migrated to New York in 1843. When her husband died in 1876, she moved to north Georgia to Pickens County to live another brother.

If you can use any of this, maybe we can collaborate. sat3.rogers@gmail.com

HG and ST Ervin
If...if you are ever at those graves again, I would love to see a shot from the marker towards their feet. Somewhere at the foot of Susies grave is my twins grave. I was taken there as a child, and there was a temporary (7 yr old) funeral home marker there then, but don't recall seeing it ever again.
Apparently, my mother planted a tree over the grave, and the tree has now been removed. I hope they simply cut the tree down as opposed to digging it up - they certainly would have taken my sister with it.
Thanks in advance
Pat

RE: John Ervin
Sadly, no, I don't have very many other Ervins. There was an Ervin based genealogical collection in the family but it was sold ca 2000 to an Ervin fellow in Jackson, a bit of a terrible accident really. I don't know what was there except it did contain many rare books, photos, tintypes, daguerreotypes.
