RE: Inez McDaniel
I transferred Inez Mcdaniel's memorial to you. Thank you for linking the Mcdaniel family here on Find A Grave. I found Find A Grave while researching family history and the family links you provided helped me tremendously. Thank you!

Kathy Salazar
Honorah Williams photo request
I called the cemetery office to confirm the plot location and to get the date of death and age at time of death. The dates match the marker found. I am assuming her middle name is Hannah.

Zim
Elizabeth O'Conner St Mary's Cemetery
Since it is too cold and snowy to look for headstones I decided to look for death certificates in the Pittsburgh Deaths 1860-1905.
I found an Elizabeth Connor who fits the birth and death years. I will send an attachment to your email. If it is her please feel free to post it or keep it. If not, please dispose of it.

RE: Blomberg
I think their bodies are there but no one put stones on the graves. I don't remember where we got the records from but you could see if St Peter in New York Mills MN has them in their records at the church.

Jame Jackson Dodson
Hi Rod; thanks for the note for Mr. Dodson. I did go ahead and insert the location for his death, but have not done so for his birth place. James Jackson is the grandfather of my wife and her family has always told me he was born in Stone County along with his other eight siblings. If you do have any information that points to Arkansas City, share it and I'll pass it on.

I noticed you have a memorial for William Jackson; he would be the brother to my father-in-law, John
Nathanial Dodson. Small world.

Take care; thanks again for the note, Will B.

George Sherwood
Hello,

I have added the parents to his memorial as you requested. I also posted his obit from the Newton Falls Herald. The mother's maiden name doesn't match what is posted on her memorial.
Hoping it is the same person.

Thanks.

We are planning to go back for the rest of the Wiirre's. the flying bugs were distracting us on Saturday, plus the list for the cemetery was real long.

TLH
Jimmie McKnight photo request
Hi, the volunteers would be happy to fill your photo request however we will need a burial location to do so.
Can you please contact Laurel Land and get a burial location for your request? The number is 214 371 1336

or to email them, the link is:
http://www.laurellanddallas.com/home/contact_us.html

There are over 233 photo requests currently and the volunteers cannot ask for that many locations to fill requests. With a location, your request will get filled pretty quickly. Thanks for your help. : )

Laurie J Newcomb
RE: Dodge
George W. Newcomb did die in Oklahoma, but the grave location is unknown. One of the issues that split our Newcomb branch was whether or not he was Bitter Creek Newcomb. His wife, Louisa Flowers stated that he was, as well as daughter Lena who remained in Oklahoma. Many family members denied it, and evidence supports both sides of the issue. When I asked about any famous family members my Aunt Hattie told me that George was more "infamous" than famous. The Flowers family contends that George returned to Virginia, died there and that all records of the time were destroyed in a courthouse fire. (But they also had claimed that Louisa died there as well which we know did not happen.)

RE: Dodge
Thanks Rod.
We had a really rewarding trip. Learned quite a bit. Our next outing we will be more prepared with water to wash the stones and preprinted lists ! I would have gotten more on your list of requests but had wifi problems and couldn't get online.
My daughter, Hallie, went with me and she is excited to fill some more photo requests when she has time.

We do plan a return trip to that area as well as a trip to Oklahoma and SE Kansas to try to tie up some unraveled ends on the Newcomb side.

I'll be scanning in those old family photos for you soon.
