Mary Ann Burns
Hi Nancy,

I was trying to research the sister of my 2nd great-grandfather (Thomas Murray). Her name was Mary Ann Murray and she married Thomas Burns. I just found the gravestone, Mary Ann Burns buried in Lawler. I'm wondering if this could be Thomas Murray's sister? I don't see that she is buried with her husband, Thomas Burns. I know many of my Murray family are buried in Mt. Carmel.

I was wondering if you might be able to tell me which family she is buried next to or around in Mt. Carmel? Her parents would have been Thomas and Mary Ann Kane-Murray. Also wondering if she might have any children buried next to her or around her?

I'm hoping you will be able to help me, this is a hard family to track down! Thanks, Sue Oliver

Michael Hayes
I did not find the grave marker for Michael. But I did find a marker for Ellen Daly Hayes. This was at a large family marker with only Ellen, Dennis and lots of extra space.

I took lots of photos of all Hayes in this cemetery and I would send them to you to use however you want, but I will need your private email to do this. My email address is: kwrichter@tds.net

This cemetery is just five miles from my home, but this is the first time I've been to St. Isadore's cemetery. I was very surprised by the large amount of Irish in this cemetery, as I thought most Irish settled closer to Lake Winnabago(Brothertown and Stockbridge). Since the early years of settlement, it is now quite German.

Michael Hayes at St. Isidore cemetery, Manitowoc Co. Wisconsin
Hello Nancy:

I'm sending you the link to the records of St. Isidore cemetery in the town of Meeme, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin where you have many Hayes relatives. I'm not finding the entry for Michael. I thought perhaps if you looked at it, you may be able to figure out if he's in there under a different first name or if perhaps the dates you have are off. I see everyone there except him and his son Alban.

See here (scroll down to the "Hayes" listings) -

Re Teresa Russell
I'm still not having any luck finding Teresa. There are no "Teresa" Russells listed in the Illinois Death Index and only 2 "Theresa" listed, one in 1923 and the other in 1933. Do you have any other information on her? Parents? Siblings? Also, what is the source of the info that you posted on her memorial? We know for sure that the grave info for her is incorrect if she is buried at MC in Hillside and the office there has confimed that there is no special section for nuns there that the information might be referring to.

Coline Alford's Gravestone Photo
I'm sorry if I wasn't clear. I want to include her gravestone photo in AAFA's Arkansas obituary collection, with your permission. I will add that caption to the photo. You don't have to add it to your Find A Grave photo!

Coline Alford
Thank you for photographing the gravestone of Coline Alford in Lake Carroll Cemetery. I appreciate it!

I would like to add this gravestone photo to the (non-profit) Alford American Family Association's collection of Florida Obituaries, where her obituary is (or will be) included. You can see the collection at http://www.alfordassociation.org/OBITS/FLOBIT.htm.

May I have your permission to include your gravestone photos? If so, I will add this to the photo caption:

Photo from [cemetery name, city, county, state]—www.findagrave.com
Permission granted by the photographer, Nancy Yost Leach

And thanks so much for your gravestone photo work!

Thank you,

Nancy,

I went to Riverdale Cemetery today and the office has no record of Percy being buried there. I do have a list of Railey's that are buried there. I will send you their names and you can check to see if they are related.

Percy is buried in Riverdale Cemetery in Columbus. You will need to move him into that cemetery. I added the obit that states burial at Riverview. When I added the photo of the obit, it removed your request for photo. Linda Ames

Re Teresa Russell
There is no section 3 in Mount Carmel. There is a Teresa Russell listed that was born in 1923, but not one in 1932. Can you please re-check your records? Thanks.

Michael Hayes
Also, Michael Hayes, IF he is buried at St. Isidore's Cemetery, may not have a gravestone.
Also, the cemetery is NOT located in the village of Meeme but in the village of Osman.
