RE: John Monter & Kathleen Monter Chenevey
Hi Cindy,

The only question I have is concerning duplicate entries at Find A Grave since they do not encourage more than one memorial for each person.

I don't need to manage either but do suggest that one be removed. I don't care which and that decision should be made by the two individuals that created the original entries.

Which one should be used for flowers? Which one should have links to other family members? Which one should be used for additional information? Duplicate memorials are very confusing for family researchers - which one should be used for database purposes? There are many family members with duplicates - some have photos, others do not.

If you prefer to manage and control a particular memorial, you can ask the other contributor to transfer management to you. If that person does not respond to your request, a note to may be in order.

Thank you for responding to my suggestions. I did write both contributors in each case hoping that the problem could be easily resolved.

Thank you also for your contributions to Find A Grave. This is a very important website for family historians and the information found here helps make connections that might not otherwise be found.

Kind regards,

Cindy, thank you for taking care of the update. No need to transfer; it is a fairly distant relationship, so that's fine. Thanks again!

RE: Thank you
not a problem at all.. That's why I signed up to do it. I actually take photos of other graves while I'm there so maybe someday we'll have them all.. I have a great grandmother that I can't even found out where she was buried. So, if someone where to do this with the cemeteries in their towns I might find her someday. She's a mystery..

You did get that the Wallaces have a son buried with them ??? Frederick I believe??

Don't hesitate to ask me for any other cemeteries in the area of Abington, Weymouth, Holbrook area

take care

RE: Photos of Isaac and Janet Wallace
You're welcome. I have maps of many of the lots in many of the sections at Fort Hill so I know where the headstones should be. There were some Wallaces nearby in lot 48 so I put them up too. Glad I could do it.
