Grace L. Robards #122749450
Since Grace Robards was married and divorced from George Stout, do you happen to know which name was used on her tombstone?

I want to be sure I have her name correct on her memorial, as Find A Grave states to make the memorial in the name on the grave marker.

Thanks for your help!

I have connected all the persons I could find. Only one I could not find is Rose Meade. I sent edits for Martha Essman. If you want me to transfer the memorials , please let me know. I made one for Arnold Olderman and son Donald. I don't have a birthdate for Donald.

Age at Death: 80

The Find a Grave record for Susan Cloyd Fisher (1782-1861)

says that "Her name is given as Susannah on her marriage certificate."

Do you have more information (or a copy of) about this certificate?

Theresia Eichhorn
Theresia is buried with her sister Barbara according to cemetery records in OLA Lot 2, Square 7,, Section A, Book Page 37. This lot belongs to Charles Mitchell.
Grave 1 - Charles Mitchell
Grave 2 - Barbara Kinstel
Grave 3 - Catherine Mitchell
Grave 4 - Alexander Kinstel
Grave 5 - Teresia Eichhorn

Teresia/Theresia died 20 Sep 1904 according to record. I have her husband listed as Christian Eichhorn derived most likely from family records. I have no documentation for him, nor any date that would help.

I would certainly like to correspond with Mr. Kunstel about the Kinstels. I apologize for the delay in answering. Vacations, school starting up, etc....

Valentine Kinstel
Did you find actual documentation that Valentine is in OLA?

RE: Kinstel family
Sorry for my long delay. I have found the information through various sources. I have a source for each one I hope although one or two may come from family information passed down. I have never been able to find the burial of the parents of this line. Of course, I have not been able to do onsite research, and online information or by mail is notoriously difficult and unhelpful.

I am wondering if they were buried in a cemetery that is no longer extant (St. Mary's Cemetery?)

I would very much like to communicate with you and exchange documentation on this family.

My husband's great-great-great-grandfather was Valentine Kinstel (Kunstel). We would be glad to communicate about this family if you are interested.

Hello Mr. Kaney,

thank you very much for your promptly and interesting response.
It's a good idea to get in contact with the Facebook Kinstels.I'll try it.
There are only a few of them in the area of New York. I hope I will get an answer from one of them and they'll be interesting about their german ancestors.
Happy easter vacations!
Greetings from Muggensturm/Black Forest/Germany

Searching for descandents of Valentin an Ottilie Künstel
Hello Mr. Kaney,
my name is Susanne Späth geb. Künstel. I'm 49 years old and have two boys (14 and 17 years old). I'm living in Muggensturm a little village in the nothern part of the Black Forest. Since 30 years I've been searched for Valentin Künstel (born 1798 in Langenbrand. A few days ago I found him in He immigrated with 9 children to USA in 1851 and changed his name in Kinstel or Kinster. This Valentin is un uncle of Josef Künstel (my greatgreatgrandfather).
Now I want to know, if you have some new informations for me.
Perhaps your greatgrandfather or grandfather was a child of Valentine? I found some other Kinstels George, Joseph, Frederick, but I want to find the direct line to an actual person named Kinstel.
Best wishes from Germany!

Susanne Späth geb. Künstel

RE: Parents and siblings of Erhard Albiez
Hello again,

do you think it's possible for me to have a look at the church records of the Adelhausen-Eichsel parish on microfilm, too. Are there any more information on Albiez families in there?
Just started to create a new homepage:

Thanks for your help.

RE: Parents and siblings of Erhard Albiez
Hello Tony,

just found a Floria(n) Albiez (*May 1844), living in Potter Valley, Mendocino, California according to the 1900 US Census. Could be the eldest brother.

RE: Parents and siblings of Erhard Albiez
Hello Tony,

I am not really about Katharina's name, I just assumed the missing "R" at the end is a typical spelling error for that time, because "Koehler" is a classical German family name (means: charburner), Koehle on the other hand I couldn't find at all and it also doesn't has any meaning.
As for the immigration of the siblings: I only found Otto listed with his brother Erhard in the 1900 US Census. So I am positive, that Erhard, Otto and Karl immigrated. The girls Josepha and Genovefa were also married in Germany and Josepha's at least 6 sons were born there, too. No idea if the ever left Germany. Also I don't know if Florian, the eldest brother left Germany. Couldn't find anything about him yet.

Hope this helps.

Parents and siblings of Erhard Albiez

Erhard Albiez was son of Anton & Katharina (Koehler) Albiez and is also brother to Karl Albiez (Find A Grave Memorial# 125287533) and Otto Albiez (Find A Grave Memorial# 137962623). There were two more sisters Josepha and Genovefa (both married in Germany) and one more brother (the eldest) Florian.

Maybe you like to add this.

I would love anything you can share with me. This is my husbands family and we have been stuck in this place for a long time. Thanks, Debbie Eaton

Baudouine people at Green-Wood
This is to let you know that I added the rest of the Baudouine people buried at Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn. Do you live close to that cemetery, because we need more tombstone pictures.
Bob Collins is a photographer, who is in that area. I am sure he will take the pictures if you aren't able to take them.
One man was entered incorrectly into that cemetery, but not by you. Are you aware of that?
