Thanks for the info on Mary Compton's burial in Canwick Road Old Cemetery plot no. B3198. Does this imply that there is a headstone?

Many thanks for visiting the cemetery in an attempt to get the photo I had hoped for. What a shame there was no marker.

Greetings, I have located a Brenda Lane DOB 1958 & DOD 1978. Also, a Ronald Laney with a DOB of 1931 and a DOD of 1986. With this happened to be family of yours? They were buried very near William Laney's gravesite. Please let me know if you were interested in these photos as well. Best wishes with your research, Tina

Thank you for remembering my dad on his angel day. I totally forgot the day - life gets in the way sometimes and important things get overlooked. Again thanks for the token, he was a wonderful man and a warm and loving father.

Burial at St. Botolph,"Saxilb with Ingleby",Lincolnshire
I was wondering if you could help me find a grave or location of our Great grandfather Joseph Hardy(1843-1916)& his wife Mary Blackburn.
He was the son of Hugh Hardy & Ester Prestwood.
I visited his grave site when I was very young at St. Botolph, Saxilby with Ingleby,Lincolnshire.
I live in BC,Canada.
There are many Joseph Hardy's (1843-1916)his first wife's name was Jane? & 2nd wife Mary Blackburn.
I have a picture of the church & graveyard but for some reason we did not get a picture of the stone.
Is it possible to obtain a picture?
Any information would be appreciated.

Thank you for pointing out I had placed Joseph's memorial in the wrong Canwick Road Cemetery. I have now corrected that mistake.

|TobyTovar||Edmund Penn Correction|
You mentioned that my photo and memorial to Edmund Penn was a duplicate of a prior memorial. The reason for this is that the original memorial you mentioned was listed under Edgefield Cemetery. This site shows 11 internments. The correct name for this cemetery is Edgefield Village Cemetery. That site holds almost 1000 internments and that is where I posted my photo and memorial. If you want I will remove my memorial duplicate but anyone looking for his memorial at Edgefield Village Cemetery will not be able to find it there unless the one from Edgefield Cemetery site is moved. Please let me know.

|J B||RE: Sir Donald Sinden|
Oh, it doesn't matter about that - if they need to take the sponsorship down that is fine, all that I ever wanted was some recognition for him as the very fine (and famous!) actor that he was.
Lovely to hear from you again Daff, and I hope that all is well with you,

|J B||RE: Sir Donald Sinden|
I contacted Find a Grave again and they have kindly made Sir Donald Sinden's grave 'famous'.
I thought that you would like to know as it was you who added him in the first place.
Such good news - recognition for a very fine actor which is most gratifying,

|DIMITRIOS CORCODILOS||RE: Barnard Castle photo requests|
You are welcome. Actually, Sergeant Chapman was the most difficult to find because it wasn't a standard CWGC headstone and there are two entrances to the cemetery.
I have added family for three of them, and put in EDIT requests for them to be linked. When this happens depends on the person managing the memorials.

Thank you for your comment re the above. I am not familiar with the area of Lincoln. The information was taken from a) Freereg and b) Findmypast. So I am assuming that it is only a 'burial service' at the church and as you state buried in the main cemetery. I will amend my records online and off accordingly. Once again thank you for bringing this to my attention.

|Mary Lou Lloyd||RE: Huetson Memorials|
It is possible, The surname and area is the same area of my Huteson and Huetson. I am still researching. I am trying to connect three branches of Huteson/Huetson's together. It has been lost of how we are related through the years.
I will keep track of the memorial. It might help me somehow hopefully. Thank you for asking me :)

Thank You soo much for alerting me to that date issue on his memorial, I have corrected the dates. I submitted the memorials in that cemetery from a transcript (and then spreadsheet) and more than one of them created with crazy (and impossible) dates, despite the fact that I submitted them correctly. It is great people such as yourself who keep this website accurate. Your work is much appreciated. James

Daff, thanks for your email. I've corrected his birthdate. If you notice any other oddities, please let me know.

|Jim Lyles||Re: Methuselah Mistakes|
You mean those two people aren't still living? They aren't going to set a human longevity record by still being alive past the year 2900? Darn! (Thanks for letting me know about my mistyped dates. I'm a little surprised that Find A Grave didn't reject those dates when I entered them.)
