There was no memorial for her in F-A-G when I made my entry so technically your entry should be deleted - however, since she is your 1C and I have no connection, I'll delete mine.

RE: Summers
Amy if you have contact with Josh Rich, would you ask him to contact me via email. My mother-in-law was a great granddaughter of Ruth and Bill and she shared a story (unverified ) with me about why my mother-in-law was a Summer and not a Pepper. It's close to Josh's input but not the same. My email address is on my Find A Grave page.

RE: Toxie Barber
Thanks for the help! Toxie was my grandfather's brother so he was my great uncle. I would be glad to manage it. And yes we very well could be related if your Wallace's are from Mississippi. Mine are from the Brookhaven/Bogue Chitto area in Lincoln county.

Amy, I went to Mr Washington Lloyd Thames page and seen that the contributor had Grandma Josie listed as this man's wife. I am not sure where he got that information but I have requested an edit or more information about where this info came from. I deleted the duplicates as I explained to the family that this site has so much information and it is easy for things to get slightly confused at times. I told the family that I would requst the edit so I think I have them calmed down a little. Sometimes I wish I had never started this project. Every time one of the family members finds something they dont agree with they surely let me know, even tho none of them are willing to help with all of this, LOL. Anyway, I hope all this confussion is cleared up now. The way I am related to Grandma Josie....Grandma Josie gave birth to Isabell Ballard Thames, who gave birth to Carrie Bell Pennington King, who gave birth to my mom Carolyn. Even tho Grandma Thames died before Grandma Josie, she still had people to drive her to visit my Grandmother Carrie. I have such wonderful memories of Grandma Josie, she had such a sweet soul and spirit. My grandmother was so much like Grandma Josie, I miss them all so much. Have a good evening, Trish

RE: Josephine Lambert Roberts and William Roberts
Josephine Lambert Ballard #79155639 and William " Bill" Ballard are in fact my grandparents. Their daughter Isabell was my grandmother. If you wish to keep their memorials that is fine, but please make the corrections because grandma Josie was never married a second time. Thank you

RE: Joe Keeton

Thanks, by the way, for the edits on Joe Keeton's page. Maybe it'll help someone down the road.

Have a good weekend,

RE: Joe Keeton

Joe Keeton (Joseph Gray Keeton) was my g-grandfather's brother. He worked for various railroads in the state and married Maybell Thompson. He died a few years later and she remarried. I don't think that they had any children.

Also, Grandma Josie was never married to anyone except Grandpa Bill Ballard, would you please remove the gentleman you have listed as another spouse, the family is very upset over this. I told the family I would contact you asap. Please transfer the care of this one to me. Thanks Trish Roberts Boutwell

Hi Amy,
I see what happened. When I was adding the list I have for cemeteries I double checked for duplicates, and didn't see another for Orlin in the Chase Township Cemetery, where I thought he was buried, but he must be in the Chase Village Cemetery then? On here it goes by Chase Cemetery. Those two get confused a lot!

Youngblood Cem; Walthall Co, MS
We've reprioritized our SW Miss travel to be in early Sept. 2014. Could you please give us directions on how to find the Youngblood Cem, in Walthall Co, MS ? Specifically, I'm interested in the Benjamin Youngblood buried there with wife Susannah Collins Youngblood. We'd first thought they were both at the China Grove Cem, but our 2009 inspection could not locate them. So your help is very much appreciated.

I descend from these Youngbloods, and my wife descends from the Walthall Co, Rials and Holmes.

Thanks again,
Meg and John Anderson

Mary Jane Cliburn
Re: Find A Grave Memorial# 93722172, Mary Jane Blackmon, birth and death Unknown

Amy, this message is not to correct a mistake but to add information about an ancestor.

(Cliburn Cemetery) Mary Jane Blackmon is Mary Jane "Polly" Neal/Cliburn/Blackmon, born 1839 In New Hebron, Lawrence County, Mississippi, and died September 27, 1910, in Silver Creek, Lawrence County, Mississippi. She was the daughter of John Sterling Neal and his first wife, Martha Elizabeth Sones Neal. Polly married (1) Calvin K. "Cab" Cliburn, son of James Cliburn and Abigail "Appie" Pittman Cliburn, and (2) Jessie Blackmon, son of Henry J. Blackmon and Winniford Ann Hedgepeth Blackmon. She is also the "Polly Cliburn" mentioned on Jessie Blackmon's Find a Grave page.

I didn't think she had a marker for her grave. Thank you so much for what you do.
