|Renee Guy||Cora Weaver Gray|
Amy, do know anything about Cora Weaver Gray. I am wondering if she is my Daddy's first cousin. I think she is the daughter of Martha Golmon And James W Weaver. If you have information about her you could share I would appreciate it. Cora has 2 first cousins buried at Navilla, Zack and Elva Golmon.

|Ona Patrick||Howard Lee Sanders|
The original military headstone was broken when it came in. A new one had to come in & that second stone was placed in the warehouse/storage area of Guion Funeral Home. Then when the roof caved in and going through the rumble that second stone was found-years later. By that time older relatives had died or was too old that the memory wouldn't let them remember exactly where Howard was buried or some were too young at the time of Howard's funeral to ever have known the location.
The military headstone application gives Wintergreen as place of burial and the person that applied for the stone was Howard's daughter. While Mr. Trimm was still the caretaker of the cemetery, he tried to find the exact spot by contacting family members--but was not successful.
I suspect that it why the stone is propped against the fence.

|Kerry Keller||RE: Ruby Sykes|
There is a correction that needs to be done for Ruby and her husband. The Sykes cemetery that is shown as the burial location is incorrect. They are actually buried in the Sykes Family Cemetery on James Chapel Road next to the James Chapel Cemetery. Their graves are the only ones inside a small fenced area. There are no signs designating it as Sykes Family Cemetery but the obit lists the burial location as that. I will add Sykes Family Cemetery to Find a Grave if you would like,then you could change the cemetery location.
Glad to help

|Daniel ||Bird Saffold|
Hi Amy! Unfortunately I'm not related to Bird Saffold. I became interested in the family after researching the house that his son William built in my home town. Do you have any other information about the Saffold's? I have never been able to find any more information about Birds or Matilda's family.

|Melissa Thomaston||Tillie Lambert|
Hi, Tillie Lambert and his wife, Floretta Thompson, were my great-grandparents. Are you related to Tillie? I saw that you were related to some Lambert's. I've been trying to find out more about his family on Ancestry.com, but I haven't found anything definitive. The clipping you added is neat. Do you know where Denise found it?

Isn't Ada (#94909316) the daughter of Homer H Carney (#13966176) and Coreen Creel (#13966179) instead of Henry T and Elizabeth Bridges Carney? If so, please change her links.
This is a link to her obit at Jones Family Funeral Home.

|Annette Douglas Lee||RE: Two Ruby's|
Did you not receive my message telling you that there were (2) Ruby Lambert's born in 1907-08 and recorded on the 1910 census for Lawrence County, Ms.?
One Ruby was born to Needum Pink and Susie Lambert.
The other Ruby was born to Ben R. and Annie Lambert.
Good luck in putting it together.
Please let me know what you find on these two ladies.
I'd be interested in why Pink and Ben both have a Ruby.
I'm thinking perhaps RUBY was a much loved ancestor for whom they were named.

|blue48pw||Mary E Bowden Wallace obit|
Thank you for posting the 1921 obituary for Mary Elizabeth (Bowden) Wallace. She is my husband's great grandmother, and the obit helped me identify her exact date of death. (The obit had a 5/3/21 byline which was a Tues in 1921...it said she had died on Monday, ergo 5/2/21.) I have never been able to find info on her husband Charles Price Wallace's death. I assume it took place in Forrest Co, MS, between 1910 and 1920. Are you related to her? Again, thank you for posting.
