Thank-you Ron for your concern. I have tried several times over the past 2 years or better to get the manager to link the Black families. Then I found out later the manager is inactive. So I tried Find A Grave a couple of times to transfer them to me or make the corrections. Nothing. I still have a request into Find A Grave. But I went ahead and duped them because I had all the links. Which are more important to me than the pictures. If Find A Grave ever transfers them to me, I will make the necessary changes.

I looked Nellie up on seekingmichigan.org, and her death cert definitely says she's at Gracelawn. There was a time that Gracelawn was derelict and some of the older records were lost or destroyed. I am worried that with her death date, she might fall into those few that were lost. The older sections A and B also are not mapped and have a lot of vandalized and missing stones. There is another index I will try next time I'm at the library. It was created from headstone readings. We might have some luck there. Gracelawn has over 20,000 interments with mostly flush mounted markers, so it is difficult to find someone even when you know the plot.
