I would like to copy your picture of the gravestone of the Conines (Jacob/Eleanor)onto my website named peterson, and perhaps also, onto: family-site-family-tree-legends. May I do so?

RE: Good grief!
Thanks for the warning. Now if someone tells me to stop or I'll be photographing with the phishes, I'll know who to blame. That was pretty cryptic. On a Sunday morning? I thought vampires slept in on Sundays.

Mt Calvary
I never thought about the records getting ruined since they did have who purchased the plots, but that does sound right how you put it about the flood and the records.

The Lyons
Thanks for all the info on that part of the Lyons. I have a John Lyons that married Johanna O'Sullivan(she is buried at Mt Calvary). He died before or on the way to America, he was brother to Michael and Cornelius Lyons. They are not listed in the books for Mt Calvary but they purchase lots in 1873 6 each and they have the dig date after each one of them died. Just back in the late 1800's & early 1900 they never wrote the name to who the dig date was for. AHHHH
Cornelius 2 sons (Michael & Cornelius) also in the 1890's purchase lots, again no name to go with the dig dates.
I know they are all related (like cousins)because they all came over at the same time between 1850 and 1860 and it was from Ireland to Columbus. So this John and Anna Lyons probably are cousins of their's.
Mt Calvary is a mess back in that time for me. I asked for other people at St Joseph's since they have the Mt Calvary records, but they dont know anything.

Again Thanks, Barbara

RE: Joseph Buff 1895
Thank you so much for all your very helpful information--much appreciated. It's sad to see old cemeteries in their present state of neglect. When I go out to cemeteries to photograph markers, I want to cry when I see un-kept grounds, unreadable weathered stones, and damage due to vandalism. For those of us who grew up 'without roots', sometimes grave marker photos are all we will ever have to remember our relatives. Thank you for your generosity of time.

Mt. Calvary
Hi, I am working on your suggestions.

I am so glad to see someone working on this cemetery. I have so many photos I haven't had time to add them or the memorials. I shared them with someone and then they had something interfere.

I go there a few times a year and take photos every time. It will be great if you have got it covered!

RE: Joseph Betz
The family may apply for a tombstone. Also the local chapter of the Sons of Union Veterans Civil War may pay for the replacement.

RE: Busby at Mount Calvary
I am not sure about this Infant Busby. If you have not checked for the death certificate at the Ohio Historical Society I can do so the next time I am in Columbus. Let me know. Maybe you could post the memorial and someone will know of this infant. THanks for all your help

Don't worry about them. They are not very closely related. Thanks for your efforts.
