RE: #30040892
I am assuming they are sisters. Sisters can't be linked. The parents memorial number can be added to each of the sisters memorials and then they will list on the parents memorials as children.

Willie Freeman
I was told that Willie came out to Oklahoma with a William "Will" Freeman. From what I was told from Willie's grand daughter that William took Willie in and gave him that name.. Not sure on the details.

Did Willie come out to Oklahoma from Alabama with a William "Will" Freeman? William was married to my great-grandmother Emma Elwood-Freeman.

Elmer French
Hi Sandra, I found Elmer and have added photographs to his memorial. I did not see "Baby French" near him.

I don't know if this is the Edith married to Elmer French. I do know there is no Elmer buried with her or next to her. There are two Elmers in Rose Hills but neither are in the same section. Both much earlier burials, 1988 and the second in the 70's.

Transfer
I transferred your mother's memorial to you. It would be better and less confusing for people if you would add the photos to the memorials of the actual people instead of parents on the baby, Your great grandmother on your mother etc.

Hello!

Thank you for adding this photo to his page! It really adds perspective and is nice to see how close he is to his sister.

Thanks again! :)

Hi Sandra, I do not know if baby is related to Elmer. Hopefully I'll come across one or both of their markers soon as I am in the midst of photographing the cemetery and that may tell the tale. Of course, you can always call the cemetery office, as you are a relative. I will let you know if I find them.

No, but I called city hall and the only FREEMAN, that they show in the cemetery is a Rose Marie Freeman but they still have no dates.

Elmer French
Hello Sandra, I am not related to 99.9% of my memorials. However, I did a search for you on Ancestry and have updated Elmer's memorial in regard to his parents and siblings.

RE: Troy D Gain
Charlie Dall Gain was your dads brother, my great grandfather.

Charlie Dall Gain married Eileen Roxie Tissier and they had 4 children: Dorothy (1918), the twins Joe and Charles(1923) and Douglas(1926) when they lived in the Roxton, Lamar Texas area. In 1929-1930 they migrated to the Oakland/Alameda California area. Email me and I can send you the link to my tree if you would like to look at it. I'm excited we are cousins! :) deniced996@gmail.com

Actually Charles was police chief in both San Francisco, then Oakland and also was interim chief in Seattle for a short time.

Hi Sandra,

Nice to hear from you! Yes that is my Uncle Charles. He retired from the Oakland police dept as police chief in the late 1970s or early 1980s. He had a twin brother Joe who passed a couple of years ago in Minnesota and their brother is my dad (the baby of the family at age 87), Douglas, who is still living. The oldest of the children was Dorothy Louise Gain Storer. She passed a few years ago as well.

Troy D Gain
Hi Sandra,

Charlie D Gain of California (your brothers brother) was my grandfather on my Dad's side. I just started our tree a couple of months ago and am so happy to discover folks I never knew about because our families were so spread out. I have several questions, if you could email me I would sure appreciate it.

Kind Thanks,
Denice Gaines Davenport
