|Jeannie Scarber||Richard Miller WWI question|
You added information about the Richard Miller findagrave memorial # 64708683. I am researching the World War One Veterans buried in Tucson. It says on Richard's death record that he served during WWI. I wondered if you knew anything about his service. (I used to live in Globe, my son did his eagle project at the cemetery where Richard's mother, Willa Clara Elliot Miller is buried.)

This seems to be Bert Foster's wife Ramona Duran: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=104609232
Were they divorced? There is no Ramona Foster in Santa Fe National.

I've noticed that Janice Carpenter Layton Foster is a "Burial: Unknown". I thought I should let you know - if you're not already aware of it - that she is buried in Thatcher Cemetery, Thatcher, Graham County, Arizona, along with her first husband and two of her children. Just thought I'd mention this even though you may be well aware of it since you posted her gravestone photo.

|Tom Thomas||RE: Links added to William Sanford Pace|
Gary, the Pace family line extends back to England in the 1500's. I don't have the grave sites back beyond Thomas Pace though but his family line is that of John Pace of Middlesex, Virginia, and from there back to Staffordshire, England. DNA proof.
My paternal great grandmother was Nancy Pace, aunt of William Sanford Pace. She is buried in Sugar Creek Cemetery, Buchanan, Missouri with her husband Thomas L Thomas. I have them linked I think. Have to check again.
thanx for linking William to his parents too.

Forgive me for being forgetful but I am not dire who Frank Holliday is and there are many listed. Can you narrow down for me the choices please?

BTW - I could not find Emily/Mary either. I suspect "we" are not looking in the right place! Eventually!

Gary - no, I am not a wonderful person. I am an avid researcher/linker!!! But thank you for the nice comments!
I took the day off, but will continue to work on the Shoemaker family. I am photographing the Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque and linking people there. So - eventually, you will find a link to the Shoemaker family in New Mexico. Stay tuned!

As Grandpa Dean recently passed away, I am scanning family pictures of his and have recently come across some pictures of Cora. I still haven't found an obit for Oscar yet, but will keep my eyes open. If you are interested in some older pictures of Cora, just let me know and I would be happy to email some.

|SA Baxter||Gale Website|
Dear Cousin Gary
I have a drop box that allows me to share my family histories and family pictures with other family members on my mother and father sides of my family. Do I have your permission to share the Gale website you have created through my drop box? Only those people who I invite to share my drop box will be able to see what is in my box. If you want to create a link to the Gale website, I will be happy to invite you to share my box. I will wait to hear from you before I do anything.
Thank you so much for all you are doing and have done for the Gale genealogy. I feel very honored to be related to my ancestors. They endured so much. I remember meeting Aunt Mae McGrath and remember her as being such a kind and loving person. I was only about 12 years old at the time. My parents went to Arizona to a Gale family reunion. I remember that some place in southern Utah my dad locked the keys in the car and when we returned to the car he had to call someone to come and get us into the car. He also stopped to get some gas someplace in Arizona and he thought Mom had paid for the gas and she thought he had paid for the gas. We left the gas station and someone come and chased us down so he could pay for the gas. Oh did he ever turn red.
Your Utah Cousin Shirley

Thank you. I am sure that this is the source where the wrong wife for James Gale came from. This is the only place I have seen the incorrect information. I wasn't looking for it and just stumbled on it. Take care. Shirley

I am a granddaughter of Olive Parintha Gale Bloomfield and Joseph William Bloomfield. My parents are George Milan Bloomfield and Julia Ann Lindsay Bloomfield. I manage both of their memorials. All of Grandma and Grandpa Bloomfield's children are dead. Uncle Rex's wife is not doing very good. I have someone who is helping to find out where Aunt Norene is buried and he will create a memorial for her. I finally found where Uncle James William Bloomfield was buried and a memorial has been created for him and it has a link to his death certificate.
I have a copy of the Gale book you helped co-author in 1993. I am using it to help document my genealogy on the Gale line. I appreciate your work.
I was in the process of updating all my information on the family of Grandma and Grandpa Bloomfield. I had to put my genealogy aside in 1993 because of having to manage my mother's affairs. She passed away in 2001. After she died then my husband became very ill and I had to take care of him until he passed away in 2011. I am just now getting back to my genealogy.
Thank you for helping to get the duplicate memorials for Sarah Ann Thompson Gale resolved by Find-A-Grave.

|SA Baxter||Sarah Ann Thompson Gale|
It appears that there is a duplicate memorial for our great-grandmother, Sarah Ann Thompson Gale.
Memorial 49698967 maintained by you and created on March 14, 2010 by Jennifer Palmer. I contacted her and she said she could not delete it because you maintain this memorial and to contact you. The name on the memorial is Sarah Ann Thompson Gale.
Memorial 5554328 created on Mune 19, 2001 by Robin Patrick. The name on the memorial Sarah Ann Thompson Thompson. I have contacted Robin but have had no response.
Both of these memorials have a picture of the same headstone. It appears to me that the duplicate memorials happened because of the last names of Gale and Thompson. Shouldn't one of these memorials be deleted or shouldn't they be combined?

Gary, I can transfer Vera [in fact, I already have] because I created her memorial. I didn't create Bobby Joe's memorial so you'll need to contact the person who did create it. No I'm not kin to either of them, I just take a lot of pictures in Memorial Park Cemetery and hope some relatives will want to take over their care. Brenda
