Tressa Mae Davis Nelson:

I have no idea who the "Wrights" are - nor do I give a damn. I created Tressa and Dave's Memorial Pages because I realized that none of their relatives or friends had done so. They were wonderful neighbors whom I loved very much.

Since you are so completely UPSET because "non-Indians" and non-family members of Find-a-Grave have produced Memorials that you want managed by "family" - then contact them and request transfers!

I'm sure that if they follow Find A Grave guidelines - and considering how "polite" you seem to be dealing with volunteers - they should soon be yours to manage.

RE: Younts
I have no information on Rachel Younts. You might try contacting Jim Hepler Find A Grave member #46977053. He maintains Peter Younts' memorial, and may have information on Rachel.

Hickman, Folsom, Pitchlynn
Thanks for your information. Yes, Peter Pitchlynn, has Choctaw blood and is connected to and also married a Folsom, Rhoda I believe was her name. Lots of information about the Folsom/Leflore /Pitchlynn/Brashear families on the internet. Some of their descendants are distant cousins of mine. My great-uncle Franklin Pierce Hickman married Serena Folsom, daughter of Choctaw preacher Willis Folsom, noted Preacher in the Choctaw Nation before Oklahoma statehood. Decendants of Martha Brashears who married John Garrett Ainsworth, brother of my great great grandfather, David Spence Ainsworth, made their mark in Choctaw history after leaving Mississippi and settling in the Choctaw Nation, now LeFlore Co., Oklahoma. I try to add important information about my ancestors (pictures and information) that I hope is helpful in connecting others to their cousins that they may know nothing about. Nice to know you have searched my memorials on Find a Grave. Are you connected to any of the above families? Milton

RE: Byford
Well, it is quite obvious that you can't read very well because I put in the subject Byford, not emmerson. I AM NOT SORRY FOR WHAT I SAID. THERE IS NOT OFENSIVE ABOUT IT. I can't help that you are looking through rose colored glasses and DON'T CARE HOW DISRESPECTFUL YOU ARE TO THE DEAD. If you are looking for a mary fine, this isn't Mary. This isn't a forum, its a memorial. That is why there is stuff like ancestry for.

This is VERY DISRESPECTFUL and DISTASTEFUL to my love one's memorial as YOU HAVE USED IT FOR YOUR OWN PERSONAL GAIN!You have nothing on there about my loved ones but are using it for your own endeavours to find your own. Make a memorial for them and DON"T use my families to search for people that aren't them!

Hi Elizabeth,

I am the Great, Great, Great Granddaughter of Benjamin Alexander Bennich. He is the father of Pensacola Bennich Byford Black. I was looking through her information and seen you were looking for family.
I wanted to introduce myself and say HI! I know that the family bonds are spread out a bit but I still look at us as family.
My email is and I'm also on facebook.

Hope to hear from you.

Lisa M (Beloat) McDowell
Beloat name
I checked my tree and I don't have a George or a Nancy Ward, however, I have Beloat's, my maiden name and Wrights. My 3rd great grandparents, Robert "Levi" Beloat married Mary Eliza Wright. Both were born in Arkansas and Robert died during the Civil War, not documentation, just family stories and then Mary died in Arizona. Her parents are Thomas Bayber Wright and Mary Ann McClendon Hunter. Both died in Arkansas. You can email me.

James Walker WRIGHT
What memorial # are you referring to?
I have been searching for a source, too.
According to the book entitled "Freeman-Wright-Bird-Mills and Allied Families" by Katherine Freeman White. James Walker Wright Sr. (b1767) had at least four brothers named OBIDIAH, AMOS, WILLIAM, & JOHN.
Maybe the confusion is that he had a brother named Obidiah.

RE: Elizabeth wright
I assume you are talking about the Elizabeth Wright (maiden name unknown - possibly Johnson) who married Joseph Wright. She was born abt 1768 in North Carolina. They lived in Edgecombe Co, NC -- Rutherford/Wilson Co TN -- Dyer Co TN -- Independence Co AR? I have their children's names & spouses, etc. if this is who you are inquiring about.

RE: Wright Family
That does not ring a bell with my side of the family. James Wright came to America but died in St. Louis. Mary was his wife who came to American Fork Utah.

I do not believe there is any connection
