RE: Lowell Arthur Davis
Do you know if he went by the nickname of "Coke"? I was just going thru some of the guys that served during WW II at the same time my dad did from Cambridge City. The only name I have is Coke Davis. The dates would work. I just didn't know if Lowell might be "Coke" Davis. Thanks.

Randi, I can't read my own writing. Must be old age or need new glasses. The memorial you did not send was 69551141. I should have requested 69551741. If you will transfer it I would be in your debt forever. Well maybe not that long.
Thanx for transfering the other Smith family members to me. Thanx Tom

RE: Manlove's Lick Creek Cemetery
Hi Randi,
I'm sorry I swamped you with edits. I'm helping Beverly Manlove Voran (# 47996675) sort out her father's ancestors. Jesse and Lana Manlove are her 3rd-great grandparents. They are the only transfers she is asking for.

I think Jesse and Lana's son Absalom bought grave stones for his family with only the date of birth on them. When someone died, they were buried there at Lick Creek, and the date of death was added to their stone. Absalom later moved away and is buried in Indianapolis, along with some of his children. Here are the duplicates:
Absalom Manlove # 74346153 # 45963569
Mary Fortner Rea Manlove # 74346152 # 45963580
Gilbert Beebe Manlove # 74346156 # 45963572
John Thompson Manlove # 74346144 # 45963577
Joseph L Manlove # 74346146 # 83460550 ?
Permelia 'Mellie' Manlove # 74346155 # 17150064

Thanks again for your help.

Mary Rariden Patterson
I appreciate you adding the photo for Mary Patterson in the Metamora Cemetery, but you have added it to the wrong person. Memorial # 41804067 is my gr gr grandmother, Mary 'Molli' Rariden Patterson. She has different birth and death dates and has no relation to the Blacklidges. Could you please take the photo off of this memorial? I am sure there are a great many Mary Pattersons and it was an easy mistake to make. I have been unable to find my Mary Patterson's stone, so it may no longer exist. Thank you, Sherry Brooks Perry

RE: John Norvell photo request
Hi Randi,
I copied a page out of the book on the Lee's Summit Cemetery that had the Norvell plot on it. If you're interested, I can scan it and send it to you so you can see what you think. I'm not certain that the W.W.S. represents an actual person's name. Perhaps it stands for an organization or something else. I have a feeling that the monument for his wife might have also had him on another side, but if so, it's not readable anymore. My email is, so you can contact me directly.

Long time no contact!! I was updating my family tree when I noticed the dates for Lucy Stant's (#41824560) birth and death are before her parents. You might want to check into this.

John Norvell photo request
I have claimed your request for a photo of John C. Norvell's stone at Lee's Summit Cemetery. I have been to the plot that was shown and haven't seen a stone for him, however I believe that he and his wife Lucinda may have shared the monument. Her name is very clear to see and there seems to be engraving on the other side, but it's not readable. The cemetery book shows that there is an unknown person with a small stone saying "W.W.S." at that site and I did find that stone laying up against Lucinda's. I do have pics of both the small one and hers as well as the other Norvells in the plot but didn't want to put them in the memorial in case you wanted to contact the cemetery supervisor for the city and check for sure. Let me know what you want me to do on this.
