Max Forrest Byrd: Greenlawn Memorial Park, Natchez, MS
I have transferred Max Byrd's memorial to your care.

Please forgive my tardiness. I'm a teacher, and this school year has been brutal!!

Best wishes,

Photo removed?
Hi Annie,
I am not understanding your request. There is only one photo and it is the correct location by cemetery records.

If Frank was later moved after his initial burial I can put that in the caption. If Frank was buried here he is somehow related and this is a valuable clue either for Frank or the family Rey.
If I just remove the photo someone else will create another memorial from the cemetery records showing Frank at this location it is best to put an explanation on the memorial.
Thank you and have a nice day.

Your request:
find a grave #89698004
Please remove headstone photo for Rey from Frank Bly's memorial.
Much thanks
Annie OH

RE: Cecil G. O'Gwin
My youngest daughter needed the computer for a class project. I was just finishing an entry on my tree. She remarked how dumb it was to loo k for "dead People" I asked what she needed the computer for. "A report on Geoffrey Chaucer" - I replied, oh, your 18th great uncle? I gave her the part of my tree that showed how she was related, which she included in her paper entitled "Meet my 18th Great Uncle, Geoffrey Chaucer" Needless to say, she got an A and has never compained again!

Hope your daughter enjoys this. I started asking about family when I was her age, but both grandma's husbands had been dead years before I was born and neither would talk about the male side. I did inherit a huge box of UNLABLED photos from one grandma. Sure wish I could find out who those folks were! There needs to be a site like Findagrave where you could post old photos and ask - Do you know who this is?

I am not related, so I did transfer this grave to you. I need to go back there soon to get my son-in-law's family photos, so I will happily take one and will post it for you. It is about 40 miles away, so it may take a while till it gets warm enough to trapse through the cemetery - but I will go sooon.

Keep in touch as you find out more about this branch of your family. I'd be interested to know if there's any connection to mine. A lot of the families buried there are related (at least by marriage) and most of them started the community. I know a lot about the area because I grew up there and lived next door to my great grandparents as a child. I transferred all four of the O'Gwins at Hillview, figuring the other two were family as well. If you don't have their obituaries, I'd be happy to check for them next time I go pull obits on microfiche.

I'll transfer those now. I added the records from the cemetery, but haven't been out there for many years. My gg grandparents were some of the founding members of the church. Put a photo request out there in case anyone gets by there before I'm able, but I'll try to get by there soon and see about getting photos.
