Tarrs of St Lukes Cem
Find A Grave member Franny (#47195713)sent this note on May 15th:

"Kathi and I just did photos of St. Lukes where you have 3 request for Tarr's. We did not find a tombstone for any of them. Kathi has a transcript of the cemetery walk thru from 1999 and they are not listed on there either. Based on that I would say they do not have a tombstone.

Those were Albert, Samuel & Paul Tarr.

RE: Love Photos
You're very welcome. Yes, the cemetery is very well kept and is in a very pretty setting between the hill on one side and woods on the other. By the way, I found Schuyler Love had 2 stones and they were rather far apart. Each had his birth year of 1865 with no date of death.

Love Photos
You had put in a photo request for Benjamin Love. I found several other people named Love and added pictures for each of them as well.

Memorial # 112312028
I tried to send you an E-Mail message but it wouldn't go through. Someone contacted me and said that that I have a duplicate Memorial #14123734 (Harr). Her maiden name was Isabelle Myrtle Harris. She was my G Aunt. The Memorial I have for her is more detailed than the one which you created. Would you consider deleting your's. If not then please update the one which you created with my information. Please let me know your decision.

I think I transferred them all to you.

Are you related to Pastor Paul Ruff from Baltzer Meyers Historical Society? He did wonderful work. I did not know him. But I volunteer there

RE: Henry Noel in Unity Cem
Thanks for the info, Karen. Turns out I did have a John B. in my software with Jacob S. and Mary S. as his parents. I did not think the Crabtree Noels were the ones I was looking for....thot it would be the Ligonier Noels. Oh well, I'll update my software!

Thanks again!

Henry Noel in Unity Cem
Hi Karen,
Happy new year! You have a Henry Noel memorial in Unity cemetery (father is John Bernard Noel [1863 - 1933]).

Do you know who John Bernard Noel's father is? I can't place him in my software.....

Barbara Cunningham
RE: Jennie Tarr

I know very little about Hamilton. He married Laura Jane (Jennie) Brallier who was born 15 Mar 1859 in Somerset, Somerset, PA d. 1946 Mount Pleasant, Westmoreland, PA. They were married 10 August 1896 in Westmoreland County.

Jennie was my husband's great aunt. His paternal grandmother's sister. Their mother was Rebecca Elizabeth Zimmerman. My husband always talked kindly about her. She lived in a little small house in Mount Pleasant. He always mentioned that her furniture was always very shiny and she would give him a penny for candy.
