RE: Mary Sischo family & Nathan Gilbert @ Kinney Cemetery
I've just added the 2 Gilbert's (Nathan & wife). Mary Sischo 1854 is in error & a duplicate of the Mary died 1851 so I've requested it be deleted. I've added new photos for some of the Sischo since I brush off the old headstones before I photo some of them. I hear ya - yes, some cemetery staff members are horrible ! Yet, some are helpful. I never go near election times ! I sometimes have to tell them that per the Freedom of Information Act, they are required to provide records within 10 days. Sometimes I email in advance to get results - it is like pulling teeth ! I'm glad I just walked & shot photos - if I found them OK - if not, oh well. I saw the office across the street & thought I would just enjoy the Weather & take my luck. It is great to know you are doing the same & thank you for all your contributions - outstanding !

Mary Sischo family & Nathan Gilbert @ Kinney Cemetery
in St. Clair Co., Michigan. I found these old headstones in the front of the cemetery overlooking the highway. Isn't this an odd cemetery for burial years - all mixed up with many recent headstones mixed in with the ones from the 1800's - no rime or reason but still a wonderful venue. Gilbert is an interesting old faded headstone. I was just walking & taking hundreds of photos and came upon them by chance. I'll be posting later tonight . . .

Good Morning, Do you know which section he is buried in? I've got about 13,5000 names posted from St Stans. Give the cemetery a call and send me a note. Barb

You are more than welcome. That is a very nice cemetery and well cared for. The people who work in the office are so kind and always helpful when we ask them for help in finding the graves.

You're very welcome, Mary. My father-in-law was also buried in the same cemetery last year. Small, but pleasant location.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving,

Mary, do you want me to remove the photo since it's not hers? I was back at the cem. this morning and there is no other markers..I found a Hattie Starzewski, but she died in 1969.

let me know.

Mary this was the only marker on the lot with this name. If Hattie is suppose to be on the same lot according to the cemetery, but she has no marker. Hope this is what you were looking for.
