I apologize for the late reply. According to guidelines, a photo of someone can be added if they took the pic. There are many contributors who go ahead and add a photo off the internet or obituary but they don't have the copyright. It's a "Do it at your own risk" thing in case the copywriter goes after the person for posting the pic. If someone has taken a pic, they can upload to any memorial. I hope this answers your question.

I never knew Popper (Fred) - he passed before I was born. Mommer (Debbie) died when I was 8, but I remember her.

My dad is the eldest - he goes by Rick now. My uncles are Bill and Fred. Dad still lives in North Highlands with his wife (my step-mom). Uncle Bill is up in Oregon, and Uncle Fred is in Southern California.

When Grandma and Granddad passed away, I moved into their house (I was in college and the rent was cheap LOL), and in cleaning out the house, became the family genealogist. :)

RE: Dick and Ruth Murray
I would be happy to take over management on the following memorials:

My grandparents:
Richard Edward Murray (1913-1990)
Ruth Evelyn (Daniel) Murray (1913-1989)

My great-grandparents:
Fred A. Daniel (1882-1961)
Deborah Alice (McCoskey) Daniel (1885-1978)

If there is any action I need to take (reading through the FAQ, it appears you can assign them to me), let me know - I will get on it ASAP.

Have a great holiday!

To complete your record - both of these people (my grandparents) were cremated, and ashes sprinkled in the Pacific.

Hi .. I've linked her to her parents... So you can delete the memorial you made for her per your sac.

thanks

Harvey, your apology is accepted. The reason I got so ticked off is because you had asked me last May to delete my original, and I would not, and I told you that yours was the duplicate. If you had deleted yours, I would have transferred the original to you. It's that simple. Many people come to this site and create duplicates of their relatives, then ask that the originals be deleted. (Just go the the "Forums" and you can read about it) This has the affect of canceling out the time and effort we put into building this site. There is also the fact that at first, I transferred to people who were distantly related, only to find out that they had absolutely nothing to add to the memorial, which made the transfer seem pointless. I've also been involved in two family disputes where I transferred to someone, only to have a "closer" relative get peeved about it! As a result, I would like to transfer within the Find A Grave guidelines of 4 direct generations.

So if I seemed more than a bit touchy, that is why. I enjoy this site and I will make any corrections or additions when requested. Feel free to add photos.

Regards,
Bonnie

Actually, the photo request was made by Vicky Hansen, but it is on your duplicate.

I noticed your photo request at Roosevelt Memorial Park. The memorial that you are requesting a photo of is a duplicate of one that I created in 2009, and it already has a photo.

You should check carefully for duplicates before creating new memorials on this site.

Bonnie

Per your suggest a correction, requesting that I remove my original memorial in favor of your memorial #87235824. No, I will not delete my memorial. As yours is the duplicate, you need to remove it.

I have added the birth/death places and parent links to the original memorial. You just need to change his children's links (#87236628, #87236349) for their father to #62612820.

you are supposed to check before you enter and be sure you are not duplicating a memorial. I deleted mine even though it was entered before yours, doesn't matter to me as long as it is on there.

Nesmith
Hello, Are you related to any of the Nesmith's that you have made memorials for? One in particular is Daisy (Fawbush) Nesmith (88992998). She was married to Lloyd (88992998) and they had a son, Harvey Arthur (87243499).

She would be my great Aunt on my dad's side. I would love to find any of her kids or grandkids (who ever is still alive)

I removed the incorrect link, which I realize was an error on my part, however I will not remove the memorial. I created these over 3 years ago. Yours is the duplicate. I am in the process of uploading photos for all the memorials I created from walking the cemetery from Feb 2009 through the present. It is a lot of satisfying work and I don't see the point in deleting any of it.

Did I ever transfer you father's memorial to you?

If not please send me the number of his memorial and I will be glad to transfer.
