Transfer Request
Hello Michelle
You kindly created a memorial page for my Aunt Judy Meikle # 107826139

Do you have a family connection to her? If not, I would like to request that you transfer her page to my care. She was like a second mom to me :-)

Thank you!

Memorials #82751422 & #82751426
The Find A Grave section under FAQ, Membership/Signing In, “What is a photo request?” mentions: “Many cemetery offices will only provide that information (exact grave location to photograph a possible marker) to relatives of the deceased and will not assist photo volunteers with finding the grave location.”

There’s a reason more than 50 requests have not been realized for Woodlawn Cemetery in Green Bay, WI. I suggest you contact the office manager, Mary Lemirande, at (920) 432-6077 or email her at to learn the exact location of Arthur Dawson #82751422 and Wm. Dawson #82751426, especially which Park (section) and names of individuals buried on each side (N,S,E,W) of your individual. Then, go back to your “Request A Photo” and add those “notes” so a photo volunteer can at least take a photo of the grassy plot if no marker is present. The cemetery does not usually have a record if or when a marker was placed at a grave site. Without the specifics, the only other suggestion I have is to remove your request. Thank you!

Bennett and Elizabeth Brittain Edwards
You have Bennett and Elizabeth as buried in the William Watters Family Cemetery in Talladega County, Alabama. There is a grave marker at the Heaslett Cemetery, not too far from the William Watters Family Cemetery, that has a grave marker with their names and information on it. It is a modern marker, so I don't know if a descendant put it there to replace an old deteriorated one, or if it is just put there in memory of them. I went to the William Watters Family Cemetery a few years ago and photographed all the grave markers and posted them. There was not one for Bennett and Elizabeth, but her parents and other relatives are buried there. Do you have information that they were actually buried there? There are several of us descendants of them that are curious to know the answer to this. Right now they are listed as buried in two different places. Whichever one is in error needs to be corrected. Thanks!

RE: Isadore
According to my info (he's my Gr Gpa) and also per his son Benny-his name is Isadore and the Jacob on the stone was a mistake. Isadore's brother's name is Jacob (buried in NY)- Jacob was mistakenly listed on the death cert too w/ other odd & accurate info.

Not sure what name he came over as from Ukraine as only found out last name was different a few months ago. He never got naturalized. :(

Dr wm w watters...ohio
I'm trying to find the parents of my ancestor, Jane Watters, b. 1822. Dr. William W Watters is listed in Goshen, Belmont Co, Ohio, on the 1840 census, with a female member of the household the right age to be Jane. It seems a stretch to think that there would be 2 Dr William W Watters in the same county.....Jane married Alfred Lake in Belmont Co, in 1846. Do you have any sort of documentation that could prove/elininate Jane's parentage?
Thanks...please email me

James Seidelman
Hello Michelle
My grandfather, Leonard Seidelman of Oswego was the brother of George Seidelman. Gordon, George's son was adopted.
My father, August Raymond was the son of Leonard. Maybe we've linked with another Seidelman Family member.
2 weeks ago Richard Seidelman (of Michigan) now Indiana and I connected.
Updates have been made to Emma's memorial.
