Elizabeth Fray Toler Sheler
I'm so sorry to report that I could not find her grave. The cemetery keeper brought a map and we searched together but found no grave marker where the grave is listed as being. If you know that there is a marker, I will go back and search again but it appears that no stone or marker has been placed on her grave.

Hello, Penny
There are two memorial's for Elizabeth Thomas Sheler buried at Pamlico Memorial Gardens. #96829369 and #65628420. One has a photo. I was
going to take a photo, but one memorial should be removed. Norman

Donna was my grandmother and was adopted by Paul and Laura Sheler. Any relation to those Shelers?

Voice & Helen Hudson - Chapel Hill

Hello Penny,

I made the links you requested...and transferred Voice & Helen Hudson to your care. I fully appreciate what you are trying to do as I have been doing the same thing with my family on 'Find A Grave'. And, I am always so grateful when non-relatives are willing to transfer my family's memorials to my care without lapsing into rigidity and reciting 'Find A Grave' guidelines for making transfers.

Best of luck on your continued adventures in family history.

Sincere Regards,

Mike Cronk

RE: Harry Smith
We already had this discussion in January. Doing it again won't change him into who you want him to be. Douser

RE: Harry Smith
Harry Smith's wife was Emma Dold. Her father, Elias Dold, was married 5 times. His 2nd and 3rd wives were Harry's sisters. They were Cora C. and Iola C. Smith. This is all I know about his family. Douser

Welcome Penny,
I am transferring her memorial to you, however, you may consider when requesting that you not only state amount of information to add but also the relationship to you. Some will not transfer without it meeting guidelines and then may not. I randomly logged this cemetery so a transfer is ok. Also, some will not respond since you did not include your number. WE work together and this site remains helpful to all. Thank you for your interest, hope you continue.

RE: Anson Smith
Hi. My Great Uncle Anson Smith's parents were Elwood K. and Mary L. Smith. Anson Smith was born in Fayette County, Indiana. His siblings are not the names you mentioned. Sorry. With the name Anson, it could very well have been him. Good luck in your search.

I was happy to do it. I did notice the stone is in very bad condition. The engraving is nearly unreadable, but I was able to read enough of it to know it was the correct one.

Penny, I have transferred James to you and will also transfer Anna to you. I visit the cemetery and post the names, not sure who to contact for other information. Hope this will help you.
