Thank you very much...

Thank you very much for your efforts to take the photo of my wife's brother's headstone. We live in Utah and didn't know when we would be able to get back out to San Diego and visit his grave.

Thanks again,

John and Carol Altheide

I can't thank you enough for taking the time to take a photo of my father's grave at Fort Rosecrans. I sincerely appreciate your taking the time to provide this to me.

Dear richard,
This was a particularly elusive pair. I can't thank you enough. Any missing ancestors in Mississippi? I would happily return the favor. Again many thanks

Thank you for taking a photo of the gravestone for Eugene Beeler. Over 50 years ago, Eugene and I met. He loved to fish and the ocean. He taught me kindness and had a good heart like you.

Thank you for making the photo of the marker for Charles and Margaret Ford Renninger. Thank you for being a Find-A-Grave volunteer and providing this service for those of us far from the gravesite.

Thank you very much for the photo. I would love to revisit SanDiago sometime as it is a beautiful city. Being in Ontario it is quite a distance.
Thanks again very much.

Thanks for the photos on Howard Sheldon (3430720) and Marie Sheldon (3430723). Do you know if they were buried next to each other (or if they cemetery records linked them)? I just want to make sure that someone didn't accidentally connect Marie to Howard, since she has no last name on the stone, because I haven't been able to find any other records of Howard being married.

Photo request for Chapman
I received a photo request for both Robert Darrell Chapman and William James Chapman. You claimed William but not Robert. They are in the same location at Rosecrans. Are you planning to do both or should I offer to do Robert?

Thanks, Richard. No rush, but I wanted you to have dibs on this one, given the historic California connection. Please take pictures of his wife's memorial, as well. Thanks again, JD

CDR Robert Caldwell Burnett
Hi Richard- Rather than post a formal photo request, I wanted to see if you would be interested in photographing this memorial at Ft. Rosecrans next time you're there. Nice California connection. US Navy veteran of WWII and Korea, active duty March 1941 to March 1961. Only son of RADM Henry Poynter Burnett, commanding officer of the battleship USS California (BB-44) during WWII (1943-1944).

Hi Richard, Sorry, I don't have a plot # and am just going on hearsay information that he is buried at Fort Rosecrans. He died on active duty in San Diego in 1932 and I know he is not listed in the National Gravesite Locator. Can you check at Fort Rosecrans when you go there for plot#? Thanks, JD
