 | J M Asserson Hi Sam
I am looking for an Asserson and I think it could Joseph Marcus. According to my grandmother's birth register, she (Joan Marjorie Asserson) was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa on 14/06/1930 to Margaret Judith Ungerer and a J M Asserson.
She was told that he was from Belgium, had his own business in Port Elizabeth and died on his way abroad when my grandmother was only a few months old. I think my gran may have been born out of wedlock so I don't know how much of that story is true, but if you can help in any way I'd really appreciate it.
Kind regards

 | Sarah Manning Robinson You left a note on her grave stating she was your 7th great grandmother. Again, I ask, how are you related to her and to her son, Capt. Samuel Robinson? If so, we would be cousins and I always look forward to meeting cousins.Added by Douglas Robinson on Mar 13, 2013 11:02 AM | |

 | Photo of Graveyard I am curious about the photo you posted with Ralph Newby, Memorial # 92913575. Is this a photo of the cemetery at Easington or Dublin?
I am also curious about the gravestones. It seems that the prohibition against Quakers having gravestones occured after this date.Added by Jan on Feb 27, 2013 6:30 AM | |
