|Anthony||RE: Fred J Whitley|
Thank you Deborah,
I was misinformed or mistaken. Someone advised me that there are two memorials for my uncle Fred James Whitley. I manage one of them and I mistakenly thought that you were managing the other.

I am Anthony Whitley, nephew of Fred J Whitley. It seems that there are duplicate memorials for my uncle Fred. If you are managing a memorial for my uncle please transfer the management to me.

Thank you for adding Bunny to Georgia memorial. She was a dear friend and will add her picture. I will send you an official request of transfer. I would like to maintain her memorial even thought she is not a family member in a sense.

There have been a number of men with that nam during the 1700s and 1800s. What are some clues as to the one your looking for?

|Ashley||Your cousin, Bromley German|
Deborah, I saw that you posted on Lt. Bromley German's memorial page that he was your first cousin. I happened to take a picture of his stone at Arlington in January 2009 and it came out rather nice. You can see it at http://instagr.am/p/J5kPQFvU_e/ I'd rather not post it here -- I'd like to retain the attribution -- but I thought you and the family might like to see it. His stone was so striking that day because it was one of the few that had a wreath. It was a very foggy, misty day and the red ribbon on his wreath stood out so brightly that day. I imagine many people learned your cousin's name and story that day. We thank him for his service.

Your very Welcome! Yes, I just took the photo this morning and had to brush the snow off the memorial. The wind was making my ears sting but I like being out in the Fresh Air. If I get a better photo in the spring I will exchange them. Have a good 2012! Carole
