|Alice Wilson||CARRIGER FAMILY|
Ida Hannah Carriger, her brother Godfrey Carriger, and their parents Andrew "Jackson" D. Carriger and Edna (Dugger) are all listed with a VIRGINIA, FIND-A-GRAVE RECORD stating they are buried in Glenwood Cemetery in Bristol, Va. There is one problem: Glenwood Cemetery is in Bristol, Tn....See Ida's Tn. Death Record where it is stated that she is buried in Glenwood Cemetery in Sullivan Co., Tn....Bristol, Washington Co., Va. and Bristol, Sullivan Co., Tn. are "twin cities". The state line runs directly down the center of our main street, aptly called State St. You can literally stand in the middle of the road, with one foot in Va. and the other in Tn. I live 8 minutes from the cemetery. It is definitely on the Tn. side of town.

|Kathy Franks||Finis Arthur Watts|
I was at Oak Lawn Cemetery today taking pictures of stones to add to findagrave. I took one of T.J. Watts grave and sent edit to Linda that his date of birth was incorrect. Also next to T.J.'s grave was the stone that I have added to Finis' memorial, I could not find any writing saying who it was, but was sure it would be for a child. If you would like me to remove the picture just let me know. Kathy

|Mary Patten||Ella Merrel|
Ella Merrel was born Ella Randall Smart in Greyson County Texas. She was married to Walter Ewing Merrell, son of John Wesley Merrel and Mary
Ellen Bailey. Alfred Reuben Smart, who is Ella's brother, is also buried there. He married Walter's sister, Cynthia Annie Merrell, my grandmother. There are several more Merrell graves in this cemetery.

So glad you have taken an interest in cemeteries since they offer a great deal of information. I am interested in a grave at the Bristol Cemetery for Edna Cooper. There are no dates with her memorial. There is a funeral home marker behind the cross at her grave. I would so appreciate any info that offer dates for this burial or if not perhaps a funeral home that I can contact. It appears some association maintains the cemetery but I do not know who holds the burial records. If you have any additional info you can share on this it woudl be gratefully appreciated.
Thank you so much!

|Nancy Roberts||The Stay Family|
I am very grateful for the transfers you made. It was very generous. Just a note: When Hans and his wife Raghnild came from Norway and arriving in America, his last name was Christensen and hers was Stay. They decided Stay was shorter and easier and so he changed his name to Stay. I say he must have been quite a man. Thanks again for your thoughtfulness. It means a lot to me.

|Nancy Roberts||Hans C. Stay|
Hans Stay was my great grandfather #75442901. I have my great grandmother already. Somehow they got separated. My # is 48004605. Are you related to the Stays as I noticed you have most of the children. I would appreciate the transfer if your relationship is not as close as mine. Thank you.

|D.R. Edwards||Jones Cemeteries|
According to the Lincoln County USGEN Web Archives
there are 2 Jones Cemeteries listed in the county;
Jones Chapel located on Hwy 43 Lincolnton, Georgia and the Jones Family Cemetery located Approximately 1/2 mile behind the home of Mrs. Mary Lucy Probst. In this family cemetery there are only 5 graves. Moses Jones 1764--1830 and wife Mary Florence 1768--1826 are buried in this cemetery and not in the Jones Chapel Cemetery. I have enquired as if there is a Soldier of the Revolution War marker on his grave. He was a Pvt. Ga. Militia 1785 also if there are photos. I hope that they will get back to me with information. They were my G-G-G-G-Grandparents.
You might want to check this out.
Thank you--I am D.R. Edwards

|J C||RE: Deatherage|
My husband's direct line came out of North Carolina into Tennessee. I have a ton of Deatherage information and some of them were bound to have gone to Oklahoma. (My husband's family was from Missouri and I know a lot of Deatherages moved there.) Who are you looking for and I will see if they are in my files. JC
