You may use the headstone picture. I am SO sorry for not getting back with you earlier. I was on vacation when I first got the message then it totally slipped my mind.

I just wanted to make a correction to your posting on my grandfather's information. He was born in Wilkins Township and died in Oakmont. I tried to correct this, but I am not sure that I was able to do so. Thank you for your work on FindAGrave website.

I am Marie's granddaughter...and I believe that we've connected on ancestry. Grandma hated the Mahala...therefore, I won't be adding that. She always went by Marie M. Melton.....glad that you're also working on find a grave also.

I can tell you how if you would like in case the same thing happens again.

Go to your profile page....then on the right it has 58 photo on that and then search for Sarah Marshall and then to the right is another button that says on that and then click on then OK.

I found a family marker with only a last name. There were no personal markers on the lot.

No. Whenever I am at a cemetery photographing I always take photos of the people nearby and upload just in case someone needs the photo. If you are related and would like me to transfer the memorial I would be more than happy to do so.

Hi, just wanted you to know I attempted to fulfill your request for a headstone picture. I visited Downey District Cemetery yesterday and was overwhelmed. My husband and I walked off rows for over a hour and didn't make a dent in the search. It has almost 3,000 graves, many of the headstones are very worn - hard to read, no one on site to help...without a plot number, etc. it is going to be almost impossible to find the grave.

I called the city this morning to request direction. Their database is down (hopefully be up in about a month), the only employee available to assist with such a request is part-time and when the database is up, she has other requests ahead of mine. Additionally, they don't have a very helpful map of the cemetery even after we get the plot number.

Sorry, but I'll keep trying. Hopefully you'll get a picture within the year.
