Wilma, I am sorry that I overlooked your message. Sounds great that you found the article on Uncle Ferman's murder. I don't subscribe to the newspaper articles yet. If there is a way that you can email that to me I would appreciate it. my email is firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks. Bill

William A. Corn died January 3, 1936 according to death certificate at ancestry.com. January 1 is when the doctor started attending him. He was buried on January 4. Not sure why the headstone has 1935 as year of death. I'm not related. Steve

|Donna Cann||Sims Family|
I emailed John Panhorst about taking a picture of a headstone of my g-g-g-grandparents who are buried in First Rogers cemetery in Union County, S.C. He wrote about the pictures he took of your Sims Family and suggested you might be able to help me. Nathan T. and Sarah Sims are buried there, but their deaths occured in 1844 and 1858. Are they part of your Sims Family? If so, could you help me with some information? Their headstones may not even be legible, or they might not even have one. Thank you.

I have no problem with you using the photo. Are you related to them too?

Wilma, I was finally able to find Grace Lawrence's "High Family Notes." It cost a fortune! It's so wonderful to have most of the families from the original Thomas High through my grandmother's generation. Are you on Ancestry.com?
I've also connected the South Carolina Highs to my husband's family, so we ended up distant cousins.
And even more surprises! My mother (High) and my father (Hittson) are 1st cousins 4 generations removed, from the families in Virginia. I wish I could have told them. What a hoot!

# 10745299 looks pretty much the same as
# 67603938. Thanks for catching this. Abel Deston High is my Great Uncle. I have his ancestry and descendants on ancestry.com. Are you and I cousins?

Hi - Thanks for the great info. I was trying to locate all of my LOVE family conncetions. Do you know where his parents are so that they can be connected up. I have updated it to the Sims Cemtery and will put a note that it is from family records. I will also to a photo request so that we may confirm. How are you connected? We are distantly connected - Nice to meet you!
