Lennoxville Cemetery
Cemetery notes and/or description:
Formerly located on the shore of Turner Creek near Lennox point in eastern Beaufort. The cemetery was washed away by the Hurricane of 1944. Information provided by Robert G. Lewis, Ph. D.

As I made note of in the notes about this cemetery. Most all of this cemetery was destroyed in the hurricane of 1944 and I could only go by old records. I cannot see why these people should not be remembered even though their memorial may have washed away.

I must have have made the misteak. I was going by old records which have been copied several times. As you may know this cemetery was mostly destroyed in the Hurricane of 1944. I was only 4 years old at that time. I really do not mind correcting any and all errors no matter the fault. The records should be as correct as possible.

Hello David,

The picture was just a random photo I took while visiting the cemetery. I may
have taken it because my wife has Wards in her family and thought there might be
a chance this family was connected. I don't think we found a connection.
