Ramer transfers
Thank you so much for transferring the Ramers to me. I truly appreciate all you've done to help people like me that are so far away from the actual grave and would not be able to see the grave in person.

Mary Belcher Winters Shapley
I remember Mary. She was my grandmother's sister. My grandmother was Florence Belcher Lambert. I remember Mary as beautiful with dark hair and sparkling eyes. I remember Lurlene and Charles and visiting their house and playing dominoes with Charles and Mary with her big blueprints. I have just gotten into genealogy and am trying to find the ancestors of Samantha Helen Leslie. All I have found is that her mother, Nancy Vinson Justice Leslie's mother might be Lydia Shockey. Do you know any more than that? I lived in Ashland, KY until we moved to California in 1956.

I live in California.

Cemetery Information
My family's church has an Old Cemetery, Is there anyway that I might be able find the names who may be buried there. I understand that the memorial stone if any are in bad shape.

I have not been able to get the information from the church.

I there any other places that keep records on who is buried in these cemeteries, if so would there be a place that I might check for these records.

The church that I am interested in is Jerusalem Baptist Church, Sparta, Virginia.

I really appreciate any help that you can give me.
My e-mail address:
Thank you for any help that you can give.

Blankenship Cemetery
Hi Mary,
you seem to be a very knowledgeable person and I saw that you had a photo request for Henson Blankenship who is buried at the Blankenship Cemetery in Catlettsburg, Boyd County, Kentucky. I looked for this cemetery online and could find no information for it other than findagrave. Do you know anything about it? Specifically, I'm trying to find the actual address of it's location.... any help would be appreciated.
THANK YOU!!! and keep up your great work here!

Thank you so much for transferring the memorials. Yes I can understand how you felt you were in a foreign country. John and Theresa never learned to speak English although they came to the U.S. in 1907. I don't know if the little chapel is still at the cemetery, but after the funeral I attended there was an old fashioned Slovakian wake. I would have loved to have had the time to walk through the cemetery. Thank you again for your help.

Little Marie
Antioch Christian Church
I saw that you are the contributor who added the photo of Antioch Christian Church. I am trying to find out about the history of that church. Is the present day church at the same location as the other 2 that burned? Do you know anything about this church or do you know any local historians who could tell me about it? I plan on making a trip to Bowling Green some time this year but would like to know as much as possible before I travel. Thanks Little Marie

Thanks for making the link to May and Daniel. May's real first name is Mabel, but she went by May I suppose since that is on her stone.

Gacek family
I have noticed you found Victoria Gacek Burial:
Saint Cyril and Methodius Cemetery
Caroline County
Virginia, USA
I was wondering if you came across John Gacek her husband, born 1862? He passed away in the 1940's.

Their son name was Sgt. Patrick Harry Getek ( I have no clue why the name change but it did)
He is at the same cemetery. Her daughter, Victoria Getek Sinlock is there also.
Thanks for any info!

RE: Giannetti Graves
Hi again. Emma Giannetti is all done. The cemetery manager went with me to fine Emma and Michael's graves. These are in a ground marker directly behind Arnold and Josephine and there is no marker. This is not a section where "mother and father" markers would apply. It is in Pine Lawn section. The manager there is Bob and he is very helpful. Perhaps you can confirm the lack of a marker with him.

RE: Josephine Giannetti
I fixed it today! Sorry. Don

Giannetti Graves

I added a picture of Josephine Gianetti's grave from Mt. Hebron Cemetery today. She is buried with her husband Arnold who died in 1991. He is not on find a grave.

Michael (1960) and Josephine (1950) are buried nearby but there is no marker for their graves.

I happened to notice Emma Gianetti's marker next to Arnold and Josephine. She was born 7/31/1904 and died 6/22/1993. I have the picture.

If you have any interest in added Arnold and Emma to find a grave, please do so and I will download the grave pictures. If you need anything else, let me know.

The City records show them in the Mountain View Cemetery, but they do not have the Section, Block or Lot. They show AOWO or AOUW which means nothing the cemetery personnel. I will keep looking, but Unless I just happen across them???

Joseph Battle Carnohan

Thank you so much for taking the time to fill my photo request of Joseph Headstone. I have so enjoyed learning about all my ancestors and this side of the family holds very special meaning to me as this was my grandmothers side of the family. Again thank you so much, and I would love to have the photos of Blanche T. Carnohan and Arthur B Carnohan.

RE: Giannetti photos
Wish the little stones were more visible but they were so overgrown with grass and I didn't have any gardening tools with me. I used a screw driver and a vegetable brush to clear them up. LOL, I do improvise when I have to ! Mt Hebron isn't that far away and I would be happy to see if I can locate them for you. Might be a week or two since they are predicting snow n rain for Monday and Tuesday and I go to the cemeteries after work. That's sounds weird but then I work night shift and I'm at them in the early morning light. Will let you know when I have them for sure.
