RE: Foco
No problem. Glad I would help. But I have a question, you have two photo requests for Saint Mary's Mount Calvary Cemetery (pinconning). However I see they both have photos but one go the photo/memorial doesn't match. Memorial reads Walter Obertein and headstone reads Wilfred Obertein (dates appear to be correct). While I was in the cemetery I did take a photo of the headstone so let me know if you need that one posted.

Hi Duff,

You need to put the transfer request through as an SAC (Edit tab in upper right corner) and make sure you state your relationship and check the box that is labelled "Send me a copy of this email". When you receive the email (typically a few minutes later) you should turn around and forward it to edit@findagrave.com . When you forward it I would insert some text towards the top of the message body that says something like Transfer request inactive contributor.

Be patient with the admins, it could take them a month or two to get around to transferring the memorial to you, they are quite busy. If you haven't gotten it transferred within a couple of months resend the email. Sorry it's such a cumbersome process but unfortunately that's the way the site works now.

Pic request
I do pictures for FindAGrave and you have requested one or more pictures in a Bay County cemetery. Unfortunately the cemetery where the tombstone is located is not indexed in a public forum. If you could contact the cemetery and get your loved one's location—section and row or plot—I will attempt to fulfill your request. You can locate an address, email or phone number by googling the cemetery's name or by checking the Bay GenWeb site at http://www.mifamilyhistory.org/bay/cemeteries.htm
As you can appreciate I'm not able to walk the whole cemetery for you.

Sincerely,

Mary K Freel

Bouquette - Roush
In the just small world department - our neighbors for years while growing up was Birdie Bell Boquette Roush's daughter's family, the Houselogs. They lived right across the street from us for over 10 years, and Shirley was a manager at a fabric store I frequented up until a couple years ago.

I think the way you changed it to include both Matilda and Wilhemena is perfect!

Ish is also buried in Walnut Hill. Made him a memorial and linked hi to father. Located 2 daughters buried in cemeteries here. Have them linked to their father. Going to run over and take a picture of the one marker in Westlawn cemetery. Birdie already has a picture. Do you want me to transfer these to you? I am assuming they are family. I can try and get Birdie's obit next week.

RE: Boquette
I went and got the obit for Millard Fillmore Sr. and posted it to his memorial, WHICH I have moved to the proper cemetery — IN IOWA. Evidently he had purchased an entire lot - space for 6/8 burials in the city cemetery in 1883, and that is why he was listed in the burial book. I double checked with the office today once I had the obit in hand. So his lot in Grand Island is either empty, or there may be some unknown burials in the plot - a possibility.

Here is the link to the moved memorial:
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=boq&GSiman=1&GScid=96591&GRid=90534832&

You should go ahead and request a picture again - this might get you a whole family from the sound of things. I hope that you get lucky this time!

RE: Boquette
There are a few Boquetts in the cemetery. Do you know his wife's name? Fanny Boquett would have been born the right time to be a wife for him. Buried in a very different row. I checked the family files in our archives. There was an obit for a son, " Ish". We don't have M. F's but I could go get it if you don't have it. Just let me know. Kay

His parents were Frank C. Peek (died 19 Jun 1991 in Genesee County) and Hettie M. Tregilgas-Peek-Edgette (died 22 Sep 1984 in Arenac County). I am not aware of burial places for either of them.

That particular section was very overgrown and I couldn't view the graves easily. If you call the office, Frank should answer the phone and he is very helpful. I suggest asking him to check who is buried in the lot with her or around her because you are searching for her immediate family's graves. He will not hesitate to look it up for you. Good luck.

I took the photo yesterday, when the heat index was nearing 100 here in Ohio. Today I realized when uploading it that it turned out blurry. It was also pretty-well submerged into the ground and I had to pull away weeds and grass. Feel free to request an "updated" photo if you'd like.

Section 30 Lot 140-B1 is what the cemetery records online say and they wouldn't list her if she wasn't buried there. Happy to help.

You are very welcome.

FYI... Adult J has no sections, therefore you can strike section 47. Adult J is considered the "section". They do have a "million dollar" view of the Golden Gate.

Alphonse Ocar LaFave 1903-1944 is my grandfather. Yvonne Marie LaFave Conniff 1935-1984, is my mother. Alphonse parents were Joseph Emil 1865-1951, Margaret 1870-1933. Unfortunately, I don't know to much about my mother side.

Thank you for the update and yes, I just created their memorial pages. They are buried in the same cemetery. Peter Arthur Bourassa is #108718808 and his wife, Mary Fouchea Bourassa is #108718861. I hope it helps you in your research. Big hugs!
