RE: Bertha Zealor
Thank you for that. I'm getting so confused about who I wrote what to today (I find it hard to keep track of messages on Find A Grave, what with messages sent only showing up where you sent them, etc.), but did you know Betty was one of 11 children and that her father, George Ward, was one of 12? Such a huge tree just those couple generations back.

I hope you have seen the fabulous hand colored photos from Betty and Earl's wedding. I would love to send you copies if you haven't. What I don't have is the date of their wedding. If you do, I wonder if you'd pass that along to me.

I only had Earl on my tree so far, but I it looks like you're added his four brothers and his father to Find A Grave. I trust I can sue that info to add them to my Brewer tree now. Would you happen to know if the info on his mother and wife is correct on Find A Grave? You've probably already checked it, but if you get a chance sometime, let me know. Thanks!

Roscoe Carnes Memorial #21093717
Hello,
I saw that you had posted a photo of Roscoe Carnes on here and left flowers on his page. I was hoping that you may be related to him and my know his father's first name and mother's first name. I know his mother's last name was Warford, but am not sure which of two sisters was his mother. Those two women are ancestors of mine and I'm trying to fit him in my tree. They lived in the Barlow, Ky/Paducah,Ky area.
If you have any information, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you.
Melissa

Andy
Levi & Mary Chenoweth
Hi Carla, My name is George Wyman aka "Andy" and I live in Lancaster, Fairfield County,Ohio. My grt, grt, grt, grt grandparents were Levi & Mary Chenoweth Ashbrook. I have been doing research on the Ashbrook & Chenoweth families. I understand that Levi Ashbrook is buried in Romney, W.V. at the "Ashbrook Plains" burial grounds. Have you ever visited there? If so, are the grounds maintained? Are there any recognizable family markers still available?
I have to make a trip in a few days to Richmond, Va and I tho't if there was anything left of the Ashbrook family burial grounds, I might drive a few miles out of my way to locate them.
Mary & Levi's son Eli Ashbrook,(my grt x's 3 grandfather)was also a primitive baptist preacher. He help establish many churches as he moved west to Fairfield County, and finally to his final destination of Johnstown, Licking County, Ohio where he is interred.
Later in Mary's life as she aged and her second husband died, son Eli came back to Va(now WV)and brought her to Ohio to finish out her final days with him. She in buried in the "Turkey Run Cemetery" just adjacent to the "Turkey Run Primitive Baptist Church" that Eli help establish.
The cemetery in only about 20 mins from me which I located late last fall but was unable to visit since it is a little difficult to obtain access to easily. My goal is to travel there in the next few weeks as the weather gets better and try to locate her marker and other family if they still exist. If I find Mary Chenoweth Ashbrook's gravestone would you like a picture of it? I assume she would have been related to you. Please let me know.
Do you know if a gravestone still exists for Levi Ashbrook back in Romney, WV? If by chance there is and you have one could you forward it to me? I would greatly appreciate any info on him or Mary if you have it, ie: burial grounds, photos. I am relatively new to genealogy and research so any help by you would be appreciated.
Thank you!
Regards,
Andy Wyman
