ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

We are fulfilling your photo request - wanted to let you know that the stone next to her appears to be her second husband, Floyd Niles. We took a picture of that stone and added it to his memorial.

Cora Tooley
Cora Tooley, #42303132, it has been confirmed that the grave is unmarked - would appreciate it if you marked it as so.

I did check the memorial and there IS a photo of the headstone.

Merle J. Selma Caples
Hi Richard, me again! Do you know if Thornton Kelly Caples' wife Merle is still alive? There is no date of death on their shared headstone. I don't want to post a photo for her if she is still alive -- I guess I'm a little superstitious! Best Regards, Jan

RE: Thornton Kelly Caples
You are quite welcome! I also took photos of many other Caples as well. There are 4 remaining which I plan to photo sometime within the next week. They are Susanna E. Caples Beaver and her husband Clarence; Margaret Louise Caples Buell, and Elizabeth A. Caples Smith. Best Regards, Jan

You are most welcome!
The headstone is tiny and unfortunately the dates are partially covered now.

Take care!

Re Clyde Trout / Ernest Trout
Note - Clyde Trout has an existing photo which was added 7-9-2009. Is there something else that you were tring to obtain in the photo?

I did not find Ernest Trout at the location given but at that location was Carla Trout 1882 - 1958 and she is not listed in either the Find a grave or City of Torrington listings. I will check with the cemetery director this next week to see if Ernest is there without a grave marker and see if I can find out about Carla.

Good luck with your research

You are very welcome. I presume you saw that I took many Gerlach pictures and uploaded them on their memorials. When we go back to Harvard Cemetery I will obtain the burial locations.

You are very welcome. Sutton Cemetery is an easy cemetery to work with + I have a copy of the index and map that the city clerk gave me. Helps a lot.

RE: Katherine Fritzler
You are very welcome -- My grand son found the site and took the photo - he didn't know that it was ok to move the flowers enough to be able to also photograph the dates. I'll try to get you a better one the next time I am in the area.

Thank you for your use of "Find a Grave"
