Mamie Lou " Lucy " Knowles Hawkins and Jessie Earl Hawkins
Thank you for the name changes and link to " Lucy" 's parents . Thank you for the link for " Jessie " to his parents . Evidently with all I was requesting I failed to request a link for " Lucy " and Jessie as spouses so I just did that through edit . When there is a photo of the tombstone we will find out whether the name is spelled Jessie or Jesse on the tombstone . As a child and young man he went by Earl ( first marriage J. E. ) and other census records were inconsistent but none with Jessie . His Social Security death record had the name spelled Jesse and the bio on his son's page with the obituary had the spelling as Jesse . So probably it would be best to wait for the tombstone photo before any change is made because maybe it has Jessie on the tombstone . Thanks again for all you have done .

I am not related so you can go ahead with processing the request without a transfer . Thank you for all the work you have done with this memorial page and all the others you have done . Also thank you in advance for honoring my request . I am just into genealogy and interested in the work of so much I can start off working on one family that it leads me to another and when I discover additional or clarifying information I want to share it so those individuals exploring their family will have a more accurate understanding of their own family roots or will have the satisfaction of seeing accuracy on the pages .

Alma & Octava Holmes
Mr. Holmes, I will be visiting Flint Creek Baptist Cemetery in Vinemont,Alabama, in Cullman County today. I will search for Alma & Octava Holmes, in order to photograph their headstones. If I am unable to find them today, I will return at Decoration, and many there can help me locate them. Respectfully, R.S Booth

RE: Your Suggestions and Corrections
I could tell you put a heck of a lot of work into the listings, with all the linkages you made. Last month I paid two visits to Nicktown under brilliant sun (to my back - for maximum effect on the stones) and photographed the entire cemetery. I'm about halfway through uploading the pics, so you can look forward to seeing a few more monuments!

Hello again Gordon.

You wrote:
"Nannie was married to Ezra Curl Truman born Feb 23 1919 in Cannon, Tennessee, and passed on Sep 29 1981 in Lakeland, Polk County, Florida but can't find a burial, maybe you can find"

I created a memorial for Ezra Curl Truman Smithson Every item in it is completely verifiable, as you can see by my notes.

I hope you approve,

Ric & Pat Holmes
Relation - 5th cousin
According to my calculations and data input which is questionable at times, (I am human). Not to mention typing skills.

My Line: Walter and Rutha, Isaac J, James L (Kia Georgia Civil War), James Sterling, Albert Buford, Malcolm, Malcolm Richard (Ric)(me). Have you been in touch with Ted Holmes or Bill Holly in Louisiana. Bill is my 4th cousin. Can't remember off top of my head about Ted, but he had done a LOT of research and he and Bill are my go to guys.
