Maria Thompson Hull Prentice
This lady was my ggg grandmother married to Orrin Henry Hull. Their son Benjamin was my gg grandfather. I have spent many years gathering information but still have not found out much about Maria and Orrin.
I am a contributor on this family's tree on managed by Theron Rogers. His ggg was Jacob Hull, brother of Benjamin. He has compiled the most extensive tree with many photos and stories.
If you could please let me know if you have additional info on Maria and Orrin I would be so grateful. The last bit of info was that Maria was born in Bangor, ME and moved as a young girl to Geddes, NY. On the other hand, I don't even know when or where Orrin died except that he was alive in 1880.
I will be glad to share all we have.
Bonnie (also a find a grave contributor)

Patience (Jones) Simons, 1799-1828
I transferred back what turned out to be your later version of this memorial. I DID transfer your photo (with caption and credit to you) from your duplicate to the original memorial. But only you can delete this later memorial, should you choose to do so. . .

Thanks again for aiding to link all Jones and King family members in this cemetery. Your detailed photos and transcriptions are superb.

I thank you for the transfer. . . identifying the various Jones family lines in NY has been the effort of a decade and this greatly helps.

WOW! Thank you so very much for the wonderful headstone photos for my Gt., Gt., Gt., Great, Grandfather Peter Bliss Sr., and also for his son Peter Bliss Jr. who are buried in the Truxton Rural Cemetery. I can not believe how readable your photos are, with the headstones being so old. Have the headstones been recently cleaned?
It is so great to actually be able to read the incription on my ancestors headstone, and now, thanks to you, this photo will be here for future generations to see! Your time and effort is very, very much appreciated!

Nice to see the weather hasn't affected you and your ventures. Nice photos. Are you going to add the inscriptions and add the other Baker's you photoed? Some are a little hard to read with the snow on it.

RE: Zebulon Mosher
You are quite welcome. I really enjoy unraveling the mysteries of epitaphs. This stone is completely illegible to the naked eye. It is amazing what the camera can see once you lightly run chalk over the stone. Yes, I know that is frowned upon by some, but when there is nothing left of the lettering it seems almost wrong to let it fade into anonymity. One last photo for Find A Grave could make all the difference to generations not yet born.
