Hello Kurt,

Thank you for the pictures you posted (especially the obits). I do appreciate them!

All the best in 2014!

RE: Peter Florczak
I have you on my list and will try again in spring. The office is not open when I have been able to go. I'm not sure if they would even send someone out to direct me to the right location. You did have the correct information. There is another Catholic cemetery here called St. Joseph. They have a kiosk with information to all the Catholic cemeteries here. Your great grandfather was listed in there, although there was no listing for Maryann. I just think the biggest problem, as I said earlier, is that so many headstones are partially or completely buried. Ann

RE: Dries Vis
Does the obit agree with the DC on Fulton Street Cemetery? Are the other Vis in Fulton related to him? If you believe he is with them, I can post a picture of the Vis plot. If you/we ever discover otherwise, you can always move him.

I did find his daughter's family in Fairplains- Jennie, Edward, and daughter Gretchen Stratton. The memorials and pictures are already posted there. I'm sending SACs on the family links right now.

Chmura/St. Adalbert
Hi Kurt,

I've added photos of the Chmura monument in St. Adalbert, Section 6 D 53. The birth years for Maciej and Marjanna are a little off, but there is no other nearby Chmura marker. Son Frank is not inscribed on this monument, but if he was in fact buried with his parents, then this monument marks his grave site, too (so I went ahead & added the photo). As you'll see, there are two other names for children with no dates also inscribed on the monument. I think these family plots have 12 graves available, but it could be 8, I'm not sure. There are likely other family members in this plot.

RE: The Stones
You're very welcome. I don't know if you noticed but several of their children are in the lot with them.

RE: Julia Chmura Photo
No I am not related - I live in the area and took photos of all the headstones at St. Mary.
