RE: Edward & Francis Fronczak
No, Edward's mother & Francis' wife is Lucy Tucholka; Edward's sister & Francis/Lucy's daughter is Dr Eugenia Fronczak Bukowski. Francis' parents are Wojciech & Victoria Jaworski Fronczak.

Edward & Francis Fronczak
Hi Maureen,

I have Edward's date of birth as 20 Mar 1905 and death as 8 Jan 1929. Also, I did notice that on the grave marker his middle initial is "F" but everything I have for him has his middle initial as "J".

From my research Francis' middle name is Eustace. Would Edward be a variation?

I would be happy to delete one of the photo's as I didn't realize it posted twice. I don't see any way to delete one. If you could advice how to do so, I'll do it right away.

Since I was "unearthing" my ancestors I see no harm done - especially since none of them are even on a known list of burials there. I'm done re-setting the stones of interest which belong to my great grandfather and great-great grandmother. I'd rather refer to it as tending to family graves.

RE: Bennet Family Cemetery

Sorry been busy. I wasn't mad about transferring these memorials I just figured it would be easier for you to do it yourself. To change the information you would have to send the information to update to Find A Grave I believe. Look through frequently asked questions and it should tell you I believe.

Hi Maureen
I transferred the four you sent me information to go ahead and edit them as I cannot seem to get it for some reason? The dates don't seem to fit for me.

A lot of my family comes from the Lockport, Niagara county area. I have Bennett's in my ancestry. We should talk! :)

I'm sure he lived alone, I don't think he was ever married or had children. As I said , he came in for dinner almost every day....I'd like to read more about the Bennets, let me know when your finished...thank you ....Doug

RE: Charles W. Bennet
The name of the resturant was Lazzaro's (now currently Jim's truck stop). I think he was aware of his lineage, he told me of the family cemetary next to his house, and what the corner of Walden and Harlem was like before the railroad bridge was there. I was suprised at the house he lived in (looked like a tar-paper shack). He did mention his family was one of the oldest in Cheektowaga...He drove an old pick-up truck and worked most every day. I can't remember what was on the side of the truck (maybe oil refinery? or delevery?)...I'm sorry I can't remember more this was almost 40 years ago when he would come in at 7 or 8 pm when it was slow and we would talk.

RE: Charles Bennet site
I was a short order cook at a near by resturant, Charie was a regular customer, I would fix him his oatmeal and offer conversation. At that time I was interested in the local history, Charlie offered his earliest memories. I enjoyed his company.

Unfortunately I did not enter the cemetery at find a grave, only the names of those buried there so I can not make the cemetery name correction. I did add the information for Major Noble.

Sorry I don't remember what section James was buried in. Forest Lawns office is very helpful and their records are well kept I'm sure they can give it to you.

RE: BENNET cemetery
Thanks Maureen I added some that I could and need to get back before the snow to retake some of the ones we went over and hopefully get the boards removed. Should I contact Dave? I heard from Mrs. Kopp and responded to her. There is still one that does not belong here and we both have asked to have it removed by someone else but I have not heard back.

RE: Jefferson Fox
My pc went down in June and I lost a lot of stuff and the info on Jefferson Fox is gone. He was living in Bennett's Creek in 1890.
Someone sent me some copies of some affidavits that Jefferson signed because he lived or worked for a Bennett family member.
I probably have a paper copy of it somewhere but will have to look for it.
If you know Jefferson Fox isn't in Bennett Creek you know where he is buried?
