William Marston
Many thanks for the fine job you have done on the memorial for my 9th Great Grandfather, William Marston. The last Marston surname in my family was seven generations later, when my grandmother, Myrtle Fannie Marston was born; she later married Clement Moulton and the surname Marston no longer continues.

John Campbell's Will
Dear Patricia. I cannot thank you enough for the information that you posted on John Campbell. The transcription of the will is an added bonus. I am not of this family, but I am a researcher who is helping one of his descendants establish a connection for a DAR line.

Your concern with sharing information is admirable. I am one lady who appreciates your efforts! Jane C. Debenport jcdeben@Vvm.com

RE: Photo for Murphy Baxter
You are very welcome, I found him with his wife while I was doing some work at Rosario, then found your memorial when I went looking for links. Are you related? I'd be happy to transfer her over.

John Mallory Land
MATTHEWS marriage
Tricia - What a coincidence. I moved to Columbus, GA, about three years ago (this is where my parents grew up and married), but I lived most of my life in and around Dallas (The Colony, McKinney, and Frisco) - so perhaps we know each other? I got that marriage record from a database at the LDS family research site "www.familysearch.com" which is a free site. They provide an Indexing Project (Batch) # M71391-1, and a GS Film # 219569 - but nothing in the way of a Book # or Page # to document the source. That would have to be gleaned elsewhere. I checked a marriage list on the Georgia GenWeb site for Warren County (again, no book or page #s), and it shows a marriage for Benjamin MATTHEWS on this date - but the bride's name is left off! You may have to contact the Warren County Probate Court and see if they will look up the marriage and copy it for you. Those records would also be on mircofilm at the Georgia State Archives - if I ever get up there, I will check on it for you. Good luck! - jml

Benjamin & Sarah MATTHEWS
Hi, Patricia - thank you for the updates on Memorials #79157754 and #79157718 for Benjamin & Sarah MATTHEWS. Are they your people? Do you happen to know if they are this couple: Sally WILMOUTH married 12 OCT 1809 in Warren County, Georgia, to Benjamin MATTHEWS ? I'm not related, so far as I know, but happened to photograph the graves during a visit to this cemetery. Thanks again - John http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=mr&MRid=46870015

Metilda Baxter and siblings
Sorry to be so late responding. The headstone in question lists 4 Baxter siblings that died. Metilda is among them. It says only that she was about 10 months of age. Sorry that it is so hard to read. I will try to get back over there, find the stone, and photograph it in better light.

RE: Metilda Baxter Photo Submission
Sorry, I no longer have the original of the photograph. I will try to get over to the cemetery soon and try for a better photo, but the stone is quite faded being over 200 years old.

many thanks for the grave sponsorship for Mary and William Hagins. I am still wrestling with the Hagin/Hagen family and their Morrow relationships. Too many unknown stones at the Old Six Mile Cemetery just wish we had a real complete listing.

ML Pettus has a listing of graves in Old Six Mile Cemetery that was done back in the 1940s which can be added to the other list I got from her a few years ago which makes for more interesting research of who is buried there

Patricia, I received your SAC awhile back and had added all the info to the memorial that you sent me, but I was wondering if you would like to have it transferred to you, since you had mentioned that you were a relative? Please let me know if you decide you would like to take over managing Frances's memorial, as I will be happy to pass it along to you.

GIFFEN tombstones @ Keil Cem.
Thank you for posting these photos. It's great to have a large resolution shot, which is legible.

It's too bad much of this memorial is covered with lichen. I'll have to travel to Scotland and clean it. Did someone take this photo for you, or were you lucky enough to visit ?

Last Sun. I visited the High Ridge Cem., in Belmont County. It has many of John's descendants.

Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication on the site for others.

Please let me know if I can do anything else for you.

P.S.ATTENTION GRAVE WALKERS --- please be on the lookout for PATRICK MORELAND ROBEY. B: 1760 D: 1814 He died when the tree he was cutting down fell on him. He died in Harrison, Virginia (now WV), but not necessarily where he was buried. (More on Patrick: Memorial# 91362879)

If others would share this message I would appreciate it. Patrick is out there in a hole with dirt kicked on him...I am guessing buried next to one of his children. I would like to find his complete birth dates and his parents.

RE: Samuel Scott Photos
Oh dear, I'm afraid I don't have the originals any more. They were taken in early 2010. Since then, I made a major relocation, got a new computer, and only have photos from 2011 to current. If I was still in the area I'd offer to do them again, but I'm 1700 miles away now.

If you'd like, feel free to copy them from FindAGrave (click to expand them to their largest size first), let me know when you have them, I'll delete them off his page, and you can re-request a new set.

Bummer! So sorry!

I've transferred the two Giffin memorials I created in Green Hills Memorial Park cemetery in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. I do this with the request that you retain all the photographs that been added. Not sure how it works but out of respect for the volunteers who took the photos, please allow them to remain. Thanks so much, I always like it when family claims a memorial I've created.
