RE: Hickman Cemetery Photos
Hello Cousin, The Hickman family is my direct line also. When I get organized I may be back in touch to fill in some blanks. Visiting the cemetery was a pilgrimage. It is tucked away on private property.

RE: Cousin Rodney
In readings of the Catherine Haught Cemetery, Rosa is often missing because her stone is lying flat on the ground. It's almost buried. I'll have to figure out how to reset it.

Thanks!

RE: Cousin Rodney
Yep! That's my cousin!
We took him to the cemetery to show him where it's at during the winter one year because he was curious. It's about a mile from my house.

Thanks!
Eli

P.S. You wouldn't happen to have in your genealogy anywhere how the two John Bennetts are related, do you? I know they are, just don't know how. Thanks!

RE: James C. Bennett
Hey! Never mind about Daniel Bennett, he is the son of another John Bennett who married Rachel Baker.

Yes, Rodney is my 2nd cousin. What pictures did he add?

Thanks!

RE: James C. Bennett
I added a picture of Rosa Bennett's gravestone to her memorial. It isn't the greatest picture but I wasn't really prepared. It Reads "Dau. of James & Sarah Bennett. I figure Thomas O. Bennett (buried beside Rosa) is James's brother. James's other brother, Daniel Bennett, is also buried in the Catherine Haught Cemetery, unmarked, according to death records, but his wife, Jemima J. Matthews Bennett has a stone. So I assume he is buried next to her, but it cannot be proven.

Thanks!

James C. Bennett
Hey! Who were James C. Bennett's parent's? I'm trying to find out where Thomas O. Bennett (1848-1864) fits into the family. He is buried right next to James and Sarah's daughter, Rosa F. Bennett in the Catherine Haught Cemetery.

Thanks!

I'll see if I can make a trip up on the hill to get a picture of her stone. I'm pretty sure I have seen it, but may be wrong.

Thanks!

Transfer of Memorials?
Jamie,

It there any possibility that you would transfer the management of John Weaver and his Wife, Margaret, to me? They are my fourth greatgrandparents.

Sincerely,

Anastasia

Let me know, one way or another at email: photini1@verizon.net

RE: Re: John Enochs' grave
Hi, Jamie,

I DON'T have an M.E. grave, but there is an M.J.H. grave ... which really doesn't make a lot of sense because it's not anywhere near John Enoch's grave. It's about eight graves away from the Haughts. We basically went from row to row when we filmed back in 2007. I would LOVE to be closer, but it's about an 8 hour trip from here.

Do you have a photo of Zety D. Fulmer's grave. I have one, but it's not really great. I am pretty sure that she was the Daughter of Samuel Fulmer and Rosana Hanlon, but there is some confusion over the birth/death year.

If you have a photo, I would LOVE to have it at this point!!

Sincerely,

Anastasia (photini1@verizon.net)

RE: Re: John Enochs' grave
Dear Jamie,

I will check in the next few days and let you know about the M. E. grave. I can't remember such a grave. Whose grave does this coincide with?

I have about ten graves that consist of initialized markers. They are really tough to deal with.

All for now.

Re: John Enochs' grave
Dear Jamie,

John Enochs was indeed buried at Knob Cemetery. The death cerfificate, which I have posted a copy of does state that he was buried at Point Pleasant.

Knob Cemetery was known, over the years, by the locals under a variety of different names: God's Knob, Point Pleasant, and Knob ... just to name a few ... which makes it VERY confusing to those that are not aware of this fact.

I hope this helps out with John Enoch's grave.

Sincerely,

Anastasia

John Enochs' grave
Dear Jamie,

John Enochs has no marker in Knob Hill/Point Pleasant Cemetery. Sometimes people were just too poor to have a marker.

There are many names that the locals call is this cemetery. Most frequently it's called: Knob Hill, God's Knob, or Point Pleasant.

Melinda Floyd Shuman
Jamie,
I was happy to photograph the stones at the Joshua Shuman Cemetery. I did photograph all of them, but there was no Melinda/Belinda or Malinda there. If you can tell me what cemetery she is suppose to be, I'll try to help you.

What I meant was I decend from John Floyd's line and you are from his sister's line. That is what I think of when I mean distant relatives. Guess we are closer then I think = )

I don't have a lot of information about Mary's Children other then John Floyd. Do you have any information you can provide? I seem to run into a lot of misinformation and get the wrong lines matched.

We are distantly related. Mary Elizabeth Johnson Floyd is my 5th Great grandmother, on my father's mother's side. The reason I have done the memorials is due to the family tree.

Nice to meet you by the way. If you have any photos or anything pleae feel free to add them to the memorial page.
