Rogers memorial Arlington, VA

I was so happy to find this photo of the George and Coralee Rogers grave. Are you a relative? My genealogy research has led me to research this line of my family. George's Mother was Elizabeth Rogers Sullivan, sister of my Great-Grandfather, Charles Sullivan.

I am wondering what you can tell me about this family. Do you have contact with any living relatives? I heard George might have had two children who could be alive today. Any information you can provide will be helpful with my search.

Michele Lagoy
Great-Granddaughter of Charles Sullivan, brother of Elizabeth Sullivan Rogers, George's mother.

Oops, sorry! I believe the correct date of death for him is Dec. 26, 1947, not 1917. The gravestone is a bit difficult to read. My source is his death notice from the Washington Post, Dec. 27, 1947.

I figured so, but they do have the nick name field and it's just one of those things that some may find interesting. Glad I could help!

Thank you for the info. I have added it to her page. Her second spouse, Boyd, was my husband's, Great Great Grandfather through his daughter, Annis. Do you have any photos?

RE: Deming Roberts
It is a rural site that is basically tourist and camping. Demming enjoyed the area there and frequented it often. Thank you for the prompgt reply and all your work.

Are you related to her? She was my great aunt. If you are not related, would you mind transferring management of her memorial to me?

I would like to thank you for taking this picture at Mount Olivet Methodist Church Cemetery. I thought I had requested a photo but never heard anything, so I was pleasantly surprised when I visited his memorial and found the photo. Thank you so much.

Signor photos
Thank you so much for adding to the Signor family headstone photos. It is a great help! Regards, janice

RE: Florence Van Acker
Thanks for making the update. I do not know what her middle name was, so the L. on the headstone may or may not refer to her maiden name, Lacy.

Yeatts stone in Camp Hill Cemetery
I was out today and took a pic of the stone, you will see that someone has planted a mum on Dorothy's side of the stone. If you remind me come winter or early spring next year, I will go out again after the mum has died off and try and get another pic. I hope you understand I did not want to harm the flowers.

re: Paul & Isabel Hines marker photo today
As far as I know Kathleen's husband Patrick is still alive, but his birth date is already on the same marker I think, like is frequently done. After you load her photo we can tell, its your call since you made the recent photo. Thanks for that plot info so much as well.

re: Paul & Isabel Hines marker photo today
Thank you so much for the photo of their marker today at Oakwood. Your kindness is appreciated.

You claimed also their daughter Kathleen Hines Baker, whose marker is right next to theirs but I see it did not get loaded on her page. Hopefully it is still in your camera because you probably made it today as well. Hope you are not having too much problems getting on the website to do it on a Sunday night, which can be challenging on the internet sometimes.

Hesper, Iowa
I was at the Hesper Lutheran Cemetery today and was unable to find a stone for Clara Johnson. There was a few Johnson families but the closest I came was a Charlette.

Hi Becky,
Thanks so much for the unexpected photos :) Thomas was Ralph's uncle. It is nice to know his grave isn't unmarked after all!

RE: L. Quackenbush
Thank You so very much for the photo of the Quackenbush stone. I am going to change her name to Lula . Every documnet I have on her husband Frank has her as Lulu, may have been a nickname.
You spot any other Quackenbushes there??? I am looking for his father and mother, Tunis and Cora Quackenbush. Thank you again. Ellen
