Yes, I'm the same guy...always happy to hear more information -- I'm guessing that William Washington Clement and Martha Laird/Lord? are among the unmarked graves at Lower Hackleburg - That location is very close to where WW lived before the War, and Peter lived closer to Bear Creek, Phil Campbell and other locations after he returned to AL...
I'd be glad to have any information you might give.

Peter Richard Clement is also my 2nd Great Grandfather. I did not know that Molly was buried in Hackleburg -- assumed she was in Memphis.
Do you know if some of the unmarked graves near Peter are those of his parents.

I see you have a Benjamin Clement in you Find A Grave site. This Benjamin is my wife's 7th Great Grandfather. I was wondering if there are tombstones or markers where both Benjamin and his wife are buried. If so, would it be possible to have some pictures taken of them?

Sorry, I am no kin to Benjamin Clement and have no information on him except what is posted . If you find he is a relative and want a transfer, I will be glad to do that.

Carroll - do you have more detailed location information?
I drove out to Amelia this afternoon and looked for the cemetery at 11441 with no luck. The address is currently a Bed & Breakfast - Winterham Plantation, est 1848. I will contact them to see if they know the location.
Next door at 11440 is the Winterham Farm which is now Watkins Nurseries property. The original Watkins Nursery near Midlothian was taken over a number of years ago by a highway 288 loop and exchange project. I talked with an old black gentleman at the Nursery barn. He said he has worked on the farm for 25 years and has never seen any hunt of a family cemetery. He said the original plantation had slave and tenant houses behind the big house but they were all leveled by a German fellow who came over years ago, bought all the property and levels all of the outbuildings. He said that fellow was an architect and he designed and built all of the present barns and farm buildings. He referred me to a Mr Little who lives further down the road across the creek. I will try to go back on the weekend and look further.

Very glad that I could do these photos for you. The graves were easy to find, thanks to you for identifying the cemetery sections. Had you not done that, I probably would not have taken the time to find them because the cemetery is so very large. And thank you so very much for placing a flower with my beloved Elaine. She rests not very far from your relatives.

You are welcome, but that is to much honor. I was logged in when the first memorials of that awful shooting were created and a Find A Grave friend told me that the Sandy Hook memorials are likely to become maintained by Find A Grave. As I know Find A Grave often disable the sponsor link, so I sponsored quickly all available memorials because they deserve a place of rememberance that is free of any advertisement.

I am always pleased to transfer management to any family member who has additional information to add to a memorial. FindAGrave has given me so much new information about my family and I hope others benefit as much as I have.

Hi Carroll - I believe the true surname is Laird however, it was sometimes spelled Lard and interpreted as Lord. My mother & father (Truman & Susan Lovett) researched this side of the family since around the 1950s so I am pretty positive.
I have a Lovett tree on Ancestry.com if you would like to see it. I have some of the Clement/Clements info also. You don't have to joing to view my tree but you will have to come up with a user id & password. Each time I add info, you will get an email letting you know.
My email is: email@example.com
Please feel free to contact me directly. If you want to see the Lovett tree, please send me your email address.

|Kimberly Phillips||RE: Phillips Family|
I believe so. Arthur Aubrey Phillips is definitely my grandfather. I saw the photos of your grandmother Floy here and I can see grampa's face in her.
My grandparents, Arthur and Thelma had 3 children, a girl died at birth, then my father Ray and my aunt dorothy. It seems they are all buried in denison, my grandparents, Virgil and their parents. I haven't been back there since Grampa died in '83. I live in Canada now so that makes it difficult.
You don't happen to have anymore pictures of grampa's family? That would be awesome. Also I can email you pictures of myself and my two brothers, Kerry Ray and Cody Ray Phillips if you'd like.
This is awesome being able to connect. God Bless the internet.
Thank you for responding back! My regular email is firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to correspond that way.

I found this site while investigating my paternal grandparents lineage. My grandparents names were Arthur A. Phillips and Thelma Wiley.
My grampa "AA" as he was called had a baby sister, Floy, brother Virgil and sister Ora. I believe FLoy is your grandmother?
So I'm guessing we're related that way. I wanted to let you know GramPa Phillips and gramma have a memorial site here too, which I dd not do so I cannot edit. His site is #21373734, or http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=21373734.
It would be nice if they were linked since they are kin.
