I will transfer her memorial to you as soon as I can access another PC in the next 2-3 days. My PC has so many problems it will no longer open the memorial pages.

RE: William O'Rourke
You might want to call the cemetery office and ask them for the grave location. You will get photos quicker with a grave location and it would verify that he is buried there. He was about 20 and it might have been cheaper to bury him nearby to where he lived. donna

I've already replied to that inquiry, Lester was single on the 1940 census and no children.

RE: John Zewe transfer
Thank you so much for all the transfers. I find that some Zewe's in Ohio changed the spelling to Savey--John and Catherine's death certs are in the name Savey. Keeps us genealogists interested!

RE: Mary (Millikin) Robinson
Hi Sharon,
Yes, Mary had returned and was living with her daughter Alice who then had the surname Keeler (I haven't found anything on Mr Keeler yet).
It is rather poignant that Mary passed away on Christmas day, two days after her birthday. She is a very fascinating person to me. Her obituary describes her life as usefulness and hardship. It seems she didn't let her hardships get her down. If you run across any further descriptions of her please let me know.
That is great news about the Daniels Cemetery! I would love to visit there and LaSalle County generally if I can get back in traveling shape.
Regarding Daniels cemetery, some time ago you mentioned Florence Zeluff as someone who is buried there (described as age 22, daughter of L.M.). I recently have wondered if that actually read daughter of L & M ie Levi and Mary. They had a daughter Florence who died at age one of the flux. I don't know how to explain the age discrepancy but interesting to speculate. I wonder if her headstone still exists and is legible.
Many thanks for your work on Find A Grave and your help with my family history investigations!
Best regards, Jim

Not related, not even sure how I ended up there! lol! I researched it anyway since I have relatives in that cemetery and came across Millie Decker and couldn't find any info for her with that surname. I bet that stone is hers tho!

Stephen Powell - Cannanville Cemetery
Hi Sharon - I filled the photo request today for Stephen but his wife's monument wasn't beside him. there were spaces on both sides of his site but no marker.

Do you know if she is beside him? There are DeVore's in that area so I'm assuming she's there but with no stone. I took broader view photos showing the area to the left and right of his monument. If you know she's there, I can post them to her memorial.

Let me know - Jim

RE: Margaret T. (Nutter) Phelps
Thank you for the updating the memorial.
Since I am not directly related, I believe I should pass on the memorial.

By 1882, Margaret T. Nutter's parents had 12 children, 71 grandchildren, & 15 great grandchildren.

It's funny, but I remember taking a picture of that stone and it was leaning so that I couldn't get a good picture of it. The next time I get that way, I will stop and try to get a better picture and make it a little more readable. The more I look at it, the more I think it says son of James Skinner.

Yes. I was new to Find A Grave when I took that picture and have found out since then that the old 4's that are worn look like 1's. But now that I see it again, I am almost positive it is a 4.
