Have been looking for Leland Hansen--he is not on the cemetery listing. I did post James & Marie, Richard & Meta, Soren & Magdelena.
Will keep trying.

Sophrona Culver Perry
Sophrona is not buried in Friendship Cemetery in Shawano Co., WI but is buried in Forest Home Cemetery at Wittenburg, WI. We were just at Forest Home Cemetery and put flowers on her grave a week ago.

Hi. Wondering if you're a descendent of Alva Otis Sanders. I'm doing Culver/Sanders family genealogy and looking for info on that line.

Thanks for the info. I'm not sure why people don't check to make sure the memorial isn't alreay there before they make another. If they are family I am happy to hand it over.

Nicholson and Agnes Haffie
Sorry, I think my previous message was unclear. The photo I posted for Agnes and Nicholson is not very good. (It was worse before I sprayed it with water.) I will definitely try to get a better photo.

RE: HAFFIE
You're welcome. I also added photos for the other two Haffies in Holyrood. Please take a look and let me know if you would like for me to try to get better pictures of their marker. I'm not very happy with the ones I posted, and I go to the cemetery at least once a week, so it would not be a problem. :)

I talked with the Bayview Cemetery caregiver, and he could not locate the Andersons whom you were looking for. He looked through his book of grave sites, and could not find a listing for them.

Also, do you know Olga's last name? If she was married, I'm guessing she would have a different last name than her parents.

RE: Henn family
Henry and his wife share a monument. It's funny; I was just looking at it a couple of days ago. I didn't meet the Henns personally, although I have friends who knew them. I am friends with the cemetery caretaker, so I will ask him about the people you mentioned. He can find out if they are buried here.

I will try to take a picture of the Henn gravesite. I work next door to Bayview cemetery, and I just saw the Henn monument the other day. Mr. Henn lived for 100 years.

Because you included the location I was able to side step contacting the office. They are really quick but this made things faster. The cemetery is right around the corner from me and so it is easy to stop any time I leave the house.
Glad to help.

This cemetery has been listed on Find A Grave exactly like it is listed in the cemetery records I can take the photo but go through the list and make all the requests hope this helps

Scally
Ok, did sone research & here's some info for you. I couldn't find any record of:
Charles Scally d.1922
William Scally 1869-1923
Sarah Scally d.1913
Sarah Scally 1800-1896

I have found a different spelling "Scalley". This may or may not help you & could possibly be a misread or a typo. It was only in reference to John Scall(e)y this is in regards to the Doherty tomb in St. Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux. The St. Joe book has the following info:
Section 27, Facing Back
#246 (1) illegible; (2) John Scalley; (3) trans. to Doherty (this is probably what info was found in the existing records).

David Scalley 1838-1906 is listed in the book, but the tomb doesnt have and inscription. I'm posting the pix to the memorial despite this as he is listed as the tomb owner. This is the 6 door tomb in section 38. Also, if I had to take an educated guess, his mother Sarah is in all likelihood buried in this tomb, but there's no record or inscrition stating so.

Helen Walsh Scally d.1920 I didn't find a listing for her, but I did find a listing for the following (and only) Walsh's in St. Joe. My thought process is that maybe there's a relation from there that makes sense & she may possobly be in that tomb:
Section 20, Facing Back
#288 Johnny Walsh
John Walsh Tomb:
Sidney Peltier 27 Jun 1855-19 May 1956
Eloise Peltier Blanchard 11 Mar 1926-13 Dec 1978
Clothilde Austin Peltier 9 Jan 1892-16 Apr 1985
on side of tomb:
John M. Walsh 1 Jan 1844-27 Feb 1909
Mrs. John M. Walsh {Cecile M. Blanchard} 22 Nov 1845-5 Apr 1918
Mamie Walsh Peltier 1872-1923
Sidney E. Peltier27 Jun 1885-19 May 1956
Lillie Austin Wilson 26 Aug 1882-16 Mar 1957

I'll be removing the requests of those that I can not do anyhting with since I can find records. That doesn't mean they're NOT buried here. it's just that the cemetery is OLD & the records weren't the greatest. The cemetery office said there may be potential info in the archives on Nicholls State's campus.

Let me know if there's anything else I can help with.

RE: SCALLY
I have photos from all angles of both Scally tombs in St. Joseph cemetery. Just let me know if you'd like them & if so, what email address I should send them to. There weren't any other plaques.

RE: SCALLY
When I go back I'll make a note to take pix from all sides for you & I can email it. I have to upload the photos from the other Scally tomb. That one hasn't faired as well being built with bricks/mortar/plaster. I'll be sure to take more of that one as well. It is missing plaques as most of the older tombs are.

RE: SCALLY
I didn't look to see if there were other plaques, like I normally do. I realized that on the drive home yesterday. It was hot & I was distracted trying to hurry before I got rained on. I'm in the area every Tuesday, so I'll go look next week & see if there are more plaques on the sides.
The tomb seemed to be in good enough condition, it doesnt have a perpetual care plaque, but it's made out of different marbles so it's holding up well. I did notice though that the cross on top was broken & missing.
