Now wasn't that fun. You now have the ability to add links to any memorial you manage without waiting for the other manager to act. If you inherit a memorial through transfer, you can add the links to the existing Bio by replacing the name with the HTML code. The code doesn't appear in the Bio just the name in color. Have fun some more!

|Jayne Wright-Allison||RE: Re: John Thrasher|
sorry to bother you again...Is Michael and Margaret Thrasher also buried at Harmony...If so, they are not listed...If they are...would you have a problem of me listing them and linking to Hazelette Thrasher. Later if you want them...I can turn them over to you.
If they are not buried in Harmony...would you know where they are.

|Jayne Wright-Allison||Re: John Thrasher|
There is a John Thrasher buried in the Harmony Cemetery of Monroe Co., IN. The person who created the memorial page said she could only read the name and no other information. Your name is assoicated with two pictures that were added to the memorial. Could you please supply any more information as to possible dates, parents, and name of lady in picture. I am looking for a John Walter Thrasher...possible son to Hazelette Thrasher.

Hi! I will be happy to transfer your family to you. I will be traveling 50% of the time in November so if you could send me a list of the numbers or request through Findagrave that would be helpful in transferring the others to you.

I'm glad to hear that your whole trip wasn't wasted.
I'll try to find out from the Edgar County Gen. Society where in Edgar he is. They have a cemetery index. It may we quite a while before I get the info. We are currently in Hawaii.
Thanks again, Karen

I'm sorry that I sent you on a wild goose chase in Grandview Cem. I sure hope it is not very large. I found the memorial for George D. Maynard born Jun. 29, 1847 Illinois, USA and died Mar. 25, 1922, Edgar County,Illinois, USA in Grandview Cem. I have an obit of a George Maynard who died the same date. The obit says that George was buried in Edgar Cem. [See below]. There is also a death certificate for a George D. Maynard who died the same date. The death certificate says that George is buried in Gill Cem. [See below].
I guess I will set up a memorial in Edgar Cem. and see if his tomb can be found there.
Thanks so very much for looking for George.
George Maynard, a life long resident of Edgar County, passed away at 9 o'clock Sat. [3/25/1922] evening after an illness of more than 2 months. The family home was on West Garfield street many years and the deceased was well known to all the residents of the community.
The deceased had been a faithful member of the Christian church for nearly 50 years, and the funeral was held from the church this morning at 10 o'clock.
Many years ago the deceased was united in marriage with Miss Nellie Callahan, who survives him with the following children: Mrs. Frank Newport, Indianapolis; Mrs. Rosa De Mougin, Grandview; Mrs. Martha Glover, New York; Bert, of Terre Haute; Gordon, Indianapolis, and George William Manning of Horace.
The interment was in Edgar Cem.

Fantastic! I'm sure her sisters will be happy to have these pictures. They didn't have good ones to lend me for her Memorial. I am Margaret (Martindale) Trowbridge, use "toby" for find-a-grave. My husband grew up in Newark, IN.

Stacey, thank you so much for posting the lovely photos of Wilma Ruth. Wilma was my 2nd cousin but I didn't have good pictures of her to post. It is so good to see these. I don't think her living sisters Marcella and Betty have these and with your permission I would like to print them off and share them with the sisters. I remember Wilma as a sweet, caring person. If you are a relative I would like to hear from you.

I would really appreciate any pictures you could get for me. I am going to try to come to Indiana next summer if all goes well. My family thinks I am weird for wanting to go to the family cemeteries but to me it is history and it is an honor to stand before our ancestors and to see where they came from.

Thank you very much for taking this picture for me. Family research has come to mean a great deal or me, I want my children and grandchildren to know about our ancestors it is just so sad that my grandparents and father aren't here to see all the things I have found.
