RE: Allen Chambers
Hi Kellee, you said allen married Kathy and I did not know that. Do you have any more information on that?

I was also wondering what siblings are still alive: your dad, Charlotte, Charles, Williams?

Did you meet my grandpa and if you did what was he like?
What was Archie and Violet like? Do you have anymore pictures you can send me of the family?

Sorry for all the questions, just don't know much about them

Julia Mayo #93574273
Hi Kellee: I have been adding obituaries and memorials and just now realized that I created a memorial for Julia Mayo Chambers #154025942.

You have created one for her but with her maiden name.

I added an obituary and if you would like to add this to your memorial, then let me know when you have done so, and I will delete my memorial.

Hope this makes sense. I am not related and am just trying to add information that I find to help others in their research.

Thanks and let me know when you have copied the info.

Hi Renae,

I think the picture that you added is the right headstone. I have 63 Unknown's by my records buried in North Union. Maybe we can figure some of these out and give them names.

Hi Renae,

I do not know who Diantha is but can do a lookup..the books that I have are sold at the Starke County Genealogical Society. We actually have three of them, each for a different area of Starke County. There are 29 cemeteries in Starke County and we have them indexed.

RE: North Union Edits
Hi Renae,

I have the Starke County Cemetery Books, I was up at the North Union Cemetery the other day trying to help someone find their relatives.

I decided to input the locations on the gravesites into Find A Grave.

I do no have pictures of headstones, but I did notice there are a lot of them unreadable and some are knocked over at the Cemetery. I will help you if I can. Let me know what you want.

RE: Henrietta Olson
Hi Kellee,
Thanks so much for the transfer of Henrietta Olson's memorial!
Since I wrote you, I found a short article on her husband's (Earle Olson) death which stated he was buried in the same cemetery, AND he died before her. I don't know what to make of that. If you hear of anything else on that matter, please let me know. I sincerely appreciate all you do!
Thanks again,

Kellee, I added Jennie's mother's maiden name of Ramp. Thanks for the info. Do you want me to transfer her to you? These records belong with family whenever possible. I won't be able to do it much longer. Have no one to leave this responsibility to. Jane

RE: Rachel Chambers
No wonder I did not find the tombstones. A couple of years ago a family member produced pictures of their family's stones that were taken years ago. Now the actual stones are missing. Wish I could do more - but I am 72 years old and can't do much physical labor anymore. There are probably more stones hidden under the grass and weeds. Jane

Kellee, Just curious about the tombstone picture. I have been over Old Salem Cemetery many times and have never seen s marker for Rachel Chambers. Did you maybe find someone who had a picture from years ago in their files? Many stones are unreadable and many are just missing. I compiled a list of burials from reading actual stones, plus a paper list from years ago. A few more have been added from family members who believe that their relative is buried there. Jane

Hi Kellee,
Thank you so very much for taking the photos for these memorials. I can't believe you found them and that you went out when there's snow on the ground. Again, thank you for the pictures and the work you do here on Find a Grave.
Take care.

RE: Charles H. Ramp 130500193
Made a brief trip to the Historical Society and found very little information on Chance, Chambers or Ramps. We have had Ramps & Chambers pass through the Congregational Church records but none of the names in the message showed up. Sorry.
I think I have all of the known burials in the Lacon Cemetery entered into FindAGrave so if you don't see them, they're probably not there. I still have 200-300 photos to upload so should have enough to do during the coming winter. - Dale

RE: Cushman family question
By 1942 Samuel Ellis Parrish is living in Taylorville, Illinois per his World War 2 draft card. He lists his daughter Grace Parrish-White who is living in Southbend, Indiana as his contact person. This would imply that Ella has passed.
