Sarah Thompson
Sarah Thompson's sister, Gracie Lena Cowles was my husbands Grandmother. Sarah raised Gracie's son, James Elvan after her death. He was an infant when Gracie died of post birth complications. It took me several years to find Gracie's death certificate as it was filed as Garcia Gipson. I took a chance and done her dates of birth and death and that is how I found this name. I knew it was right as it had her parents listed. I too found info of L.C. being Luther. The V.C. Cowles possible Veachel or (Virgil). So sad that no grave stones were placed. We found out that Gracie & James Carl Gibson's graves are marked by three stones from a step granddaughter of James. who visits Oak Grove cemetery near Rocky Hill often.

I usually would make the requested links before making the transfer, but my iPad died today and I'm on my iPhone, so you'll have to do the links.
Have a nice day.

RE: Virginia M Hare's headstone
You are very welcome. Tunney was my first stepfather and I loved him very much. Even though he had his faults he taught my brother and I a lot when we were little. I do not know who my biological father is and my mother past away the week of Thanksgiving last year. Maybe that's why I try to help others locate and record their ancestors.

John Wesley Hare
Hello Dorothy, I have a picture of Mr. Hare's gravestone if you would like me to add it. We can only have 5 photos so you will need to combine two of them if you would like me to add it. Have a wonderful day!
