RE: Edward Morris #127425278
It's a no to the "Elta" T. Morris you found on FindaGrave. California Death Record shows mother's maiden name was Box.

I don't know where or when Delta May Tennyson died, but she was born Apr 1877 Fort Scott, Bourbon, Kansas to Josephine L. Atkisson and James W. "Willis" Tennyson.

RE: Edward Morris #127425278
Ed's wife Delta Tennyson was a step granddaughter to Catherine Black Tennyson - it is actually the Black family I am interested in. I have found by widening my research on the peripheral it helps fill in the holes. So many of these families were intertwined.

RE: Uniontown Cemetery
Uniontown is west of Fort Scott take Hwy 54 to Hwy 3 then south to Maple (5th) (Old 54) and turn back east. It is on this road.

RE: Edward Morris #127425278
I haven't personally been to the cemetery but according to the site "Uniontown Cemetery is approximately a quarter of a mile east of Uniontown, Bourbon County, Kansas on old Highway 54, which is also known as Maple Road."

T. Reeves
Adam Oliver Smith
Hello Michael,
Sophia's son, Adam Oliver Smith, married Mary A. Smith in Bristol, Indiana in 1900. This was his second marriage. Mary is also buried in Central City Cemetery. My great great grandfather was Mary's son, Edward Lewis Smith (b. 1875 Indiana) from her first marriage with a William A Smith (still need documentation for this...finding her first husband is where I am stuck). I know Mary was already a Smith and that her maiden name was Motter. However, I found it odd that he traveled from Nebraska to Indiana to marry and return with Mary who I assume helped to raise Hattie's children. I wonder if these two Smith families are related as cousins or otherwise? I wondered if you might know anything about this 2nd marriage. A will or probate records for Adam?

Thank you much!
Taralee Reeves

Barbara Stein
Vera Burg
Thank you for contacting me regarding Vera Burg at Oakwood Cemetery. I took her information from her obituary which stated that she was buried at Oakwood Cemetery (Their sexton has not returned my phone call). I spoke with the Forest Lawn Cemetery office this morning and they confirmed that she is buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery. I am leaving my site up but have included a note stating that her obituary says she is buried at Oakwood but is actually buried at Forest Lawn. This way someone looking for her starting with her obituary will be able to find her. If you have any questions, let me know. Merry Christmas!

Find A Grave Correction: William Scott
I did as you requested, but did you know you can do many edits yourself now? If you click on the edit tab, you will see you can change these:

Birth/death date, birth/death place
Relationship (parent and spouse links)
Plot or GPS
Marker transcription

Use the last option to pass on obits, transfer requests, etc.

Their suggestion:
Please link to his parents, Martin Jefferson Scott #21861035 and Anna Marie (Andrews) Scott #21861069. Thank you, Michal Scott

Hi Michael.

I linked Frank to his Father.

Do you know that Find A Grave has a new link where you can link parents and spouses directly yourself ?

Go to the Memorial page, click on EDIT and choices come up that you can fill in. Then it is sent to the "owner" and we ACCEPT it.

Easier and faster.
