Shiloh Cemetery Photo Request (AR)
I saw a sign on the road pointing to this cemetery as I was passing through and on a whim decided to stop. I photographed every tombstone in the cemetery that looked like it had something written on it. Unfortunately the majority of the older tombstones were sandstone and had worn away. I took a quick look at the photos and didn't see any that would fulfill your request. However, I did submit a picture of the cemetery and the GPS coordinates so they can create a map.

Kamay,

Unfortunately John died in 2002. I know there is a copy of his work in the Lexington, Nebraska Public Library, but I don't think he did any online work. He has a living sister, (Alice)Marylin Kring, 1002 Buffalo Bnd, Lexington, NE 68850. She might be able to give you some better information. I haven't seen her since 2007, but she was hale and hardy then.

RE: Wallace/Eager memorials
I am directly related to the Wallace/Eager line. My greatgrandmother was Lucinda Wallace Yoder, sister of Parthina Wallace Eager. I haven't done much with this line of my family as the grandson of John Wallace, brother of Lucinda and Parthina, has done a lot of research on the Wallace, and Yoder line, and maybe more that I don't know of. Lucinda and Parthina's parents are buried in the Robb Cemetery, as they are, and their maternal grandmother is also there. Another sister, Sarah Tracy, is buried in the Harper Cemetery in Harper, KS. You can find some useful information for your Wallace tree there.

J. H. Plunkett - Shiloh Cem, Ark.
I do not know who his wife's (Julia Stewart) father was. Sorry. I obtained the info from a survey list done by someone else.

If you will send the request via his memorial edit page, it would be easier for me to do it.

OK - will transfer. For future reference, it's a good idea to provide the memorial # you want transferred as well as your membership #.

I'm not related to the Wallaces. This is the only information I have which came from his funeral record.

RE: Scholfield
Kamay,

Always nice to meet a fellow Scholfield cousin. My great- great grandmother Mary and Lester were siblings along with John Arthur. While Lester & John went west to Kansas, Mary stayed in Indiana. Mary and her mother Margaret Teeters are buried next to each other in Pleasant Lake, Steuben, IN whereas the father, Dr. Samuel Scholfield is buried with his second wife, Martha Brown, are buried together in Hamilton (Lake), Steuben, IN. I live about 20 miles from these locations.

The best person to get the complete Scholfield genealogy along with much of the Teeters is Romona Stettnisch. She was living somewhere out in Kansas. She has also put a lot of information out on the web. If for some reason she cannot be contacted ( she was getting up in age) plese recontact me and I'll help you out.

Good Luck,
Michael

RE: Scholfields
I can transfer Lydia H. Kelley to you because she is not a direct ancestor (only by marriage) but I'd like to keep Leister T. Scholfield as he is my kids' great-great grandfather.

Hope that is okay with you. I'd be glad to add any additional information you'd like.

I have more information at www.genealogy.hollymillrun.com if you care to look. Thanks.

I transferred both Scholfield's to you. You can use the link on my profile page (click on my photo) to find Frank's date of birth using the birth date calculator link. Just add his death date & age at death (found on the tombstone transcription I added to his memorial). I should have done this before I transferred to you but forgot! I hope you can add his bio & possibly a photo of him.
Regards,
Shari

RE: Plunkett's in Polk County
There are lots and lots of Plunkett's. The nicest family I know are Bill and Katy Plunkett. He is a retired pharmacist and I think Katy is a nurse. Their address is 208 S. Eve St., Mena 71953. Their phone number is 479-394-1647. This is from the phone book. You can tell them that Jeri Brock suggested you contact them for Plunkett information. They have been here forever. I am sorry that Lee's marker picture is faded but so is his stone. Jeri B.
