Leroy Gardner
Hi Adam,

According to the Lakewood Cemetery web site, Leroy's cremains were returned. His ashes were not buried there. I'm sorry for you about that.

You're welcome. There is a section of the Millview Cemetery which is called the Warren Cemetery and I'm sure most are your relatives.

RE: John Amos Carrier
When I go to Wood on the weekend I will look in section 17. But I never seen one not in the database. Misspelling yes, missing no.

I found your record at but it doesn't list a grave location just a red line. The remarks say "died Milw Wis". Others line with the red line say shipped to ???

My guess he buried in Milwaukee, but not Wood. Any other family here? Maybe a family plot?

I looked in the Catholic Cemetery database and he not listed.

There is a Frances E. Carrier, buried at Forest Home. Find A Grave Memorial# 90673918. Looks like his daughter. Next time I go there I'll look.

Edson T/F Hickok
Hi, Thanks for the information on Edson. I added the info and a little more I have. We have conflicting information on his middle initial and his place of death. His marker has his middle initial as T. I believe he died in the Civil War down in Tennessee. Let me know if you think those are unlikely per your sources. Dianna 'dialynna'

RE: Re: Charles Edward Birkeli
Hi Adam,

I met Charles one time on a visit to the fire station. I didn't know him personally. I may be able to help you find that story in "The Deluge." I will email you with some info and a person that can maybe get a hold of that story for you.
