See also Sallie Fenn - Memorial# 40658231 (lot 536 grave 8).
There is a listing in the book (by section) for a George Fenn who died Aug 30, 1907 - which is the day Laura died. The book says he is buried in grave 12. Since Laura is not listed, I am betting that George should be Laura.

Same issue here with photos of wrong lot. Lawrence is in grave 9 of lot 536.

Ignore the part about Mrs LJ Fenn. That is her daughter-in-law who died the same year. Laura is actually not listed with the rest of the family there in the book, but her stone is in that lot.

I think you photographed the wrong lot. You wrote that she doesn't have a stone, and posted pictures of an empty lot, but she does have a stone, and the lot isn't what you photographed. (She is listed as Mrs. L. J. Fenn in the burials by location book. She is in Section 9 Lot 536, Grave 6.)

On the Riverside homepage on the right at the very bottom, there is a small line, "THERE ARE 2 IMAGES NOT SHOWING." Click that, and scroll down to the BLOCK MAP I submitted there. Riverside is laid out in 129 blocks. For example, if a listing Says buried in "Block 9, lot 10," you can at least find Block 9. I have another detailed map showing the lots and lot purchasers which I use in finding graves. Just because there is no picture doesn't mean there is no stone. There are 16,000 burials there and it takes awhile to photograph EVERY tombstone and download them to the Findagrave listing. Have a great reunion! One of your classmates will be bringing my Albion history books to your event. My sister Amy (Passic) Bearman is the veterinarian here now (5 Points Veterinary Clinic). http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=1495

who ever wrote this article got the dates wrong. the information is correct. I knew Phil and a friend of his is worked at juvenile court with him I am in contact with. I don't know the person who wrote this but I plan to contact the website an ask them to change the dates. I can edit the article if necessary.
in the mean time you could add that he was a member of the Baha'i Faith which I know is factual.
Thanks for osting his memorial.

Thank you so very much for the updates for Annie's memorial. This will definitely be of great help to those who are researching her family.
Glad you added the source info to the memorial so anyone can see for themselves what the records show.
Again, thank you for your help.

|Tom Speers||William Jay Speers|
Please transfer management of William Jay and Margaret Stump Speers tombstones to me. William's father is Noah Walker Speers Jr # 8610355 and mother is Elizabeth Eberhart # 8610362 (not Eberhard) buried in Elmwood Cemetery in Memphis TN. I do this German/French line of Spear/Spears/Speer/Speers. Noah and Elizabeth are from Belle Vernon PA and had 11 children. I have 17 or more Noah's in this tree and Noah Stausser-Speer Wyle of ER, the Librarian, and Fallen Skies is one of them. The first Noah Speer/s in the US was born in PA in 1769 who founded the town of Belle Vernon in 1813/14. Margaret is from Baltimore MD. William Jay Speers used to run a department store on Roswell Rd.
Thank you for creating this site.

|L Ferree||RE: Witts|
Okay, boy the records were a mess. Not only wrong section, but within the section, wrong grave #s. Ruth sent me photos of the plot diagrams so I could match up pictures to the right graves. I made memorials for those that were missing. If I usurped your intentions, let me know and I can transfer or delete. Going to be out of town for awhile and wanted to straighten this out before I left.

|L Ferree||RE: Witts|
I believe you, but I just wondered where your info is coming from, since it doesn't match what is in the books.
Added by L Ferree on Mar 31, 2015 10:34 AM
Well, this is terribly confusing. Using the record transcription, I don't see any Witts in Section 17 - don't even see a lot 311 in Section 17. Did you mean to write Section 7?
In Section 7, lot 311, it shows: Mrs HH (1982 - should be 1882) in #4, Charles C (1918) in #5, Infant of Robert in #1 (1864), Infant (1863) in #5, Miles Jr (1900) in #2, and infant of Claude Young (1860) in #6.
In Section 15, block 229, lot 2: William Byers, C Erwin, Fannie Owens, Mrs PD Witt, Miles F Witt, and Mrs. Mary Witt.
I am guessing that you are looking at the actual plot maps and not the transcription. The two that don't match your list are Mills/Miles (1900) and Charles C. How confident are you that the record transcription is wrong?
In Charles C's obit, Mr and Mrs Paul D Witt are mentioned (She is in Section 15). There is also a Mrs. J. D. Young - relative of the infant Young in Section 7? Also wonder if Horace Witt of the obit might be related to Mrs HH Witt in Section 7. So the families might be related.
